This was my first visit here. The pastry section is awesome. I guess it is sold by the pound. I didn't have those this time. We ended up having breakfast which was very good. I will be returning for the pastry run.

This was fine dining service at a casual Mexican food joint! I cant get over how wonderful the service was. Truly outstanding! Barbacoa was TO DIE FOR as well as the pan dulce. The place itself feels kinda stale for a Mexican restaurant, but the service and food are definitely worth the visit!

The Retama ladies go there for their breakfasts and my wife has been trying to get me to go there. We happened to be in the area and stopped for coffee. Wow they have a whole wall of confections. I found a cherry cheese danish and enjoyed it with a cup of cappuccino.
One of the few places I miss from the RGV. The coffee was good and the pastries were great.

The service and food are top notch. Coffee is always very tasty. Try their Cafe de Leche. Seasonal pies are excellent and their pastries never disappoint. Highly recommend. I love going there for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
