I love me their Mexican food, don't get me wrong. But for some reason I thought it would be wise to try their pupusas. Oh hell no. 10/10 DO NOT recommend. It was completely disrespectful to my country and more importantly to my taste buds. It was mediocre at best. There was very little meat and hardly any cheese. And no frijoles??? Also they know they have to grind the meat right? Stick to the Mexican food, bc the Pupusas ain't it. The sopes and tacos are bomb though!...
A really interesting restaurant, a lot of signs about seniors with friendly humor.I ordered the Huevos Rancheros here, and for $7.99 you get 2 eggs, refried beans and potatoes (the bacon was $2.99 extra).The eggs weren't cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs was slightly spicy but tasty, the refried beans were good, the potatoes were hot but bland, the bacon was very flavorful.The menudo was okay but it wasn't served hot.Overall an okay Restaurant, the gentleman...
This is a great option for home style meals, especially during lunch hour. I had seen their lunch bowls for quite a while and each looked hearty, filling, and tasty. I went and ordered their enchilada bowl for lunch.I was lucky...I didn't realize they close early and got there about 15 mins prior to close but they still took my order.
