I had an unpleasant experience. After ordering to go with my co worker. I get to work and started eating. I noticed my order was wrong after the 2nd taco. I had placed 2 orders. 1 of desebrada and 1 of chicharon prensado. My co worker the mixta. I then call the establishment and stated my problem. The lady that took care of my call told me the order was given correct except it was not bagged correctly. So in other words they are not to blame for since we ordered together but paid separately. Mind you my coworker had left for the day. So it was impossible for us to exchange orders. On top of all of this, the lady did not apologize for the inconvenience or anything!!

The service was terrible and she wanted to over charge. Make sure you check your receipts before paying.

I am Extremely dissatisfied with this place. After eating here for years with my family, today I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the female employees. I came here to eat with my legally deaf grandmother, I explained to the waitress that she is deaf so to please give us a minute while I figure out what she wants to order. We ended up ordering something to go since they were out of every agua fresca, then i went to the bathroom and when I returned I noticed this rude girl raising her voice at my grandmother. I told her, “I told you she’s deaf, so why are you yelling at her?”. She mentioned granny wanted her potato to eat here, and I explained that we’d be taking everything to go. Then this waitress raises her voice at me too and she says, “ It’s her potato so I’m bringing her food to eat here!” I clarified that I am paying and driving her home so I want it all to go regardless. Then she got offended after she attacked us, and accused me of being rude. I told her, ”If the food is ready, then bring it to go, otherwise we are leaving!” She said she wasn’t going to bring anything and refused to serve us due to my deaf grandmothers disability. We went a few doors down to La Curva where they have drive through and my grandmother is not an inconvenience! Before leaving I asked for her name, which she refused to tell me, given her bad treatment. I recommend she gets the training necessary to be a decent waitress. I came here around 2 PM on a Sunday, she was in her late-20s or mid 30s, dark complected maybe from Guatemala. Notify me when her training is completed so I can return, meanwhile I’ll be eating elsewhere!

Took around 25 minutes to receive my order even when the restaurant was empty, the flavor of the food is good but the size of the tacos is mini, is a little bigger than my finger.....this is a taco that you eat in 1 bite , by the way the cost of this mix order is $8.80
Love it. True Mexican flavor.

Hair on my onions, plastic piece from a bag in my papa asada & completely flavorless first and last time going there, not worth the price $50 for 2 orders of very small tacos nearly no meat and the flavorless papa asada with 2 drinks

Wow! I’m here and I already want to come back! These taquitos are delicious! They’re authentic, mildly seasoned and soft. Of course, this does remind me of the tacos of my childhood. The cabbage salad is delicately shredded to match the softness of the taquitos. There is a variety of items on the menu typically from central Mexico.
On the other hand, the decoration of the place is well thought of, and the details are attractive. The oversized cups of freshly brewed coffee complement the experience. The service is prompt and friendly. We’re definitely recommending “Los de Canasta” while in Mission, in the Rio Grande Valley.

I patronized this place when it opened years ago. I went today and was very disappointed! Tacos de vapor were greasy and reddish. Very little meat also. They weren’t like they were when they first opened. And too expensive. You don’t even get beans for that price!

They lack staff, I had to go on a Saturday and only 3 people serving, charging, preparing and serving, I asked for the manager and they told me that he was not there at the moment, at that moment there were people at the register wanting to order takeout, people waiting for orders and I'm waiting for someone to charge me.
