I hate leaving bad reviews, but this one is deserving of one. I had ordered a 3 Leches cake for my sick mother in law for her 84th birthday because that is what she was craving. When I was paying for the order, I asked if it could be extra moist and the girl charged me an extra $8 to add more Leche. When I picked up the cake, it was on a regular cardboard circle and I noticed that there was no visible Leche coming out. I asked several times if they were sure that it was extra moist and they reaffirmed me that it was. When we took it home to sing happy birthday to her and cut into the cake, it was super dry. It had a few wet spots in it, but probably 90% of it was dry bread. I took pictures to show the owners and staff, but was avoided 4 times. I wanted to let them know that that dry cake that they sold me and that I paid extra for was the very last thing my mother in law got to eat because she ended up passing away. So I just went back for my 5th time to talk to the owners since I was in the area and they would not come out to talk to me. I was offered a $4 refund only which I rejected. Sadly, this will be the last time I will ever buy anything from Mr. Ruben or Mrs. Leticia who are very good people. Just the fact that they never returned my calls or messages, and they didn't come out from the back today was just poor customer service on their part especially being a long time customer since 2009-ish.

Used to be my family and friends go to cake shop. But im done with the attitude. I just wanted to reach out about a cake my parents got for my birthday. My name was wrong on it and they got a design they didn't agree on. Why don't I just simply reach out? Maybe because they blocked me on Facebook when I kindly triesd asking for help. Guess others who said this place went downhill, they were right. Customer service needs work asap, cause this is pathetic. Yalls time being the best in our eyes is done, this is the last time.

I ordered a star shape cake. It literally looked like it was bits of cake surrounded by layers of frosting. Plus the frosting was sour and turned fingers red! Plus the star was lopsided. I asked to speak to owner or management and they weren’t there 3 days in a row and never called back
Owners response…!!!…. How was i supposed to know that the cake was filled with frosting I realized when I cut it and was embarrassed in front of guests at the poor quality wish I knew how to post pics so u could c

So disappointed in this bakery they made the cake and filling wrong they don’t want to take responsibility for there wrong doing will never recommend this place off there were zero stars I will put them they don’t care for there customers
Was extremely disappointed with the product and the way that the owner handled the situation. She never accepted responsibility for the poor quality of the product that I received. Two hours after picking up the cake and transporting from one city to another the cake's bottom layer slid off the top two layers. Never once did the employees forewarn me that a 3 layer cake would run this risk. Highly priced for an unacceptable cake.

We ordered our daughters 2nd birthday party cake from L’pastel and it was delicious and beautiful! ? we had shown the gentleman who took care of our order two different inspo pics & he created that into one beautiful cake. Their cakes are always moist, soft, and yummy!

My husband had my birthday cake done by this bakery. When he surprised me with the most beautiful cake I’ve ever seen I nearly cried. They made it exactly how he explained/showed them. It was so beautiful and so yummy too. He took a chance on this bakery and I’m so glad he did. I will be going here to have his birthday cake done. For the past 3 years I’ve been coming to L Pastel for my daughters bday cakes and I must say.. they never disappoint!! I can literally get them a photo of how I want it and they will make it exactly like the photo. True artists that work here. Not only does it look great but it tastes great also!
