Great food and affordable prices, once upon a time! This is a Valley/Mission staple that should’ve surpassed the test of time. Unfortunately the business is closed and neither google or Facebook can update the status so you end up driving over there thinking it’ll be open. Once you see the parking lot you see that it is full but upon closer inspection you can see there is no activity inside the kitchen. The numbers listed are out of order as well. I’m not sure what happened to this burger joint but it will surely be missed!!

The Luau is a Mission institution, dare I say a Valley institution. Been there forever and a day. My grandparents and great grandparents have eaten at this establishment and the food is just as good today as it was then. I have now taken my daughters to eat at the Luau making 4 generations that have visited. I hope it sticks around so they take their grandchildren here someday. If your in Deep South Texas spot by, you won't regret it.

Food made fresh it was so tasty we tried the torta de milanesa 10/10 and we asked for a salsa picosa and it was so good kids got bacon hot dogs and they loved them highly recommend but you have to have patience because food is made upon
