Bought 4 pieces of bread. Ridiculously overpriced! This empanada was hollow inside it was just plain bread. I do not recommend them.
Meh. I can only speak for what I bought, but $10 for two cookies and a dognut seems a bit high...Especially for mediocre tasting treats.
Can't believe the bread fells like a rock and super expensive ... I wonder if the other reviews about the bread is great are false .. and not to mention super expensive $13.50 lb I can feel.the weight of the bread .. they make the bread heavy and it gets hard right away .. last time I stop here
Presentation is great but the price for the bread is definitely not worth it
The quality is not that great . Bread gets hard right away .. $13..49/pound. Is definitely not worth it .. and bread is super heavy .. o under and since they control the weight by making the bread heavier. Is not worth.
Best. Bakery is El Fenix Bakery in Edinburg that is way better not as expensive as Paris Bakery, but worth it ...
I don't recom3nd paris bakery .
I really wanted cake today and I was told to go here but unfortunately the white cake with sprinkles was very dry. It just crumbled when I stuck a fork in it. I don’t know the names of the other items we got but they were meh. I don’t recommend this place.
Really bad customer service 👎
Ohh my goodness, the quality is no longer there as when they started. I use to be a regular customer at their original store years ago. Then I stopped going because they made many changes in which they cut the quality, size of their products and bumped price significantly. Today Monday October 14, 2024, I went back to give them a chance to impress me in which they did but not for good. The conchas which use to be my favorite were so bad made and small. And for my surprise when got to the cash register. I paid $30.00 dollars for 12 small concha’s that were poorly made. I’am definitely not going back ever after this one last time chance. I should have know better there were no customers at location. I will give credit to lady behind counter she was very friendly. I don’t recommend this place it is overpriced and overrated people.

I would like to respond to the answer given by Paris Bakery.
If I posted a message on Google reviews in regards your business it was to give my opinion as a customer. Because that is a right we get because we are who pay for a product to be consumed or used. I was honest on my opinion regarding your product. Now you as a company owner should be open to be criticized so you can then learn and provide a better service to the customer. I honestly believe and I say it in the most respectful and humble manner that you as the owner of the premises became greedy money hungry and have stopped providing good quality products. This review was done in good faith and not in bad faith as you mentioned on your response to my review. I really hope that Paris bakery comes back to be what it uses to be many years ago. ( I invite all those customers that are considering buying at Paris Bakery to go and see it for themselves. Buy 12 pieces of bread and you should be paying what I pay when I went $30.00 dollars). That is insane

Overpriced. Taste is mediocre. Not worth spending a pretty penny of your hard earned money for poor quality, so much for them using “the best quality ingredients”.
Might as well go to HEB that is a street down it’s the same quality but less expensive and at least you’ll get more bang for your buck.
So disappointing being a patron of the community trying to support local for them to jack up prices like that. Def won’t be coming back. ??????

Hello!! I remember this place back in 2014 when I moved to mission Tx . This it was a very small place , with the line going out the street to purchase Pan bakery goods, it was a super delicious and the price was excellent, well all I can tell you , is stay away from this horrible glorified extremely expensive bakery, last night October 11 I visited the store, and OMG $12 for 6 conchas? About $12 per pound, this is ridiculous and unbelievable, how the local community and customers, have not stop supporting this business, this people are reaping customers of , with those super inflated prices.unreal . Apparently they have several locations now, and why not right? At the customer expense right. My god people of mission, McAllen Edinburgh, San Juan, less put stop to this nonsense rip off of a business. And say no more cafe Paris. The bread is not a 1/4 of what it used to be, the flavor is not there anymore apparently they are not using real butter anymore,
Anyway this is the Rio grande valley, south Texas not New York city, or Los Angeles California, or Las Vegas NV . I hope you find this Review helpful, If you remember the old cafe Paris back in 2014 you know what I mean by this.
Thank you.
Sincerely
A T

please stay away from the location in pecan Street. stopped in for 4 pieces of DRY bread, and two VERY DISAPPOINTING coffees. no music, no customer service. The person serving last night on pecan Street location was very under trained when it came to the Expresso machine, no customer service skills, atmosphere is DEAD

Waaay to expensive $20.00 for 7 pieces of bread and conchas are too small... Delicious but never going back!
I stopped by to pick up some mini conchas but couldn’t resist the temptation of the delicious looking bakery offerings! Trays and tongs are provided so you can select items from the bakery cases. Lovely clean atmosphere that smells heavenly, hard to resist!
Parking: Large parking area in front of the bakery. Wheelchair ♿️ accessible parking at the front door with level access.

The place it welcoming and so is the service. Where they get you is low value for the quality of their pan Dulce. Large items with little filling like their empanadas. I bought a few of them I spent almost 50 dollars for a stuff no one really ate. I won’t be returning.

It was my first time trying this place and it was absolutely wonderful! They have weekly deals, the workers were lovely and helpful, and the conchas, donuts and other small snacks were incredible! I’m going to become a regular, I enjoyed it so much! <3
