Tortillería La Mazorca

This is my second time ordering from here because the tacos are delicious. Since I have a sensitive stomach I have to be careful where I order food but, I’ve noticed here I don’t get sick which a huge bonus for me!

The flavor is good, tortillas are home made, and the green salsa tastes good. I like the portion of food per taco, it’s not small nor overflowing. When I opened the plate, everything looked nicely presented too. I’ll be coming back again soon.

I have been here plenty of times in the last few weeks during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each time has been fresh and delicious and definitely worth the small wait. Staff is friendly, kind and happy to help. This has now become one of my go-to mexican restaurants.

La CARNE para los tacos de Bistek, esta muy gruesa,son pedasos muy cuadraditos y grandesitos. Ocupa un corte mas Delgado.

I recommend to cut the Bistek meat for tacos, a little more thinner. The meat was to Rubbery and chewy. I personally did not like them. No disrespect, I had to Extra-Chew, and use my molars strength a little more😔😔

Friendly staff, clean tables. Beans are really good but the meat was not fresh and had a slight odd smell to it. The faji papa had machacado type meat and not fajita meat.

Placed a togo order for lunch and the lady that took my order was very friendly and helpful. Ordered some ponchos, hotdogs, machacado & egg taco, chicharron prensado en salsa verde and while there she offered us agua fresco samples which were delicious btw and we got some as well. Food was delicious but if I have to nitpick I would suggest cooking the machacado a bit longer before adding the egg, for my taste at least.
