Have been to one of the locations in Houston and saw there was now one in Missouri City. Came here for dinner and this just place does not disappoint! They always have the best hot and sour soup. Went for the Hot Diving Fish and it was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. The seasoning was very similar to what you would find in a Viet-Cajun restaurant. Luckily I believe this location has yet to be discovered as they were not busy when we went. I would expect as people begin to realize this gem is here and experience how great their food is, this location will become more busy.

Customer service is exceptional, there was a mistake made w my order. I immediately called and went back. My food was corrected and they insisted I keep the food that was incorrect. In other words, they saved me an hour on preparing dinner for my husband.

For the price increase the quantity has not changed. Different experience from the two different restaurants. There is one near Montrose Blvd, and they serve very good quantity. Hope they fix that soon. Also, pay attention to your customers. I had asked to reduce salt with the spicy chicken cubes dish but, no luck. It was super salty.
My family and I have fallen in love with this place! I don’t write reviews ever but Cooking Girl deserves this praise. From the clean minimal aesthetics to the quick service there’s not much I can think of that I don’t like. The other half of the importance is the food, and after having gone here several times trying a large majority of the diverse menu, I can confidently say you can’t order wrong. Everything tastes fresh and delicious!

First time trying Cooking Girl in Sienna Plantation, and it did not disappoint! I had the classic General Tso's chicken, and the Mala fries (not French fries, but absolutely delicious). Linda got the 'hot diving fish' (fish with green chili and cucumber) and fried tofu with garlic sauce – all fantastic. Portions were generous, and we even had leftovers for tomorrow. The customer service was excellent. We can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu!
