Authentic Chinese food, best in town

Ok this is not a place that serves Kolaches and donuts. They actually serve a Chinese/ Vietnamese breakfast. The pork and chives dumplings are awesome and the beef noodle soup is fantastic. The bean pancake is ok as well. This place is becoming my weekend ritual. If you get the dumplings ask for the hot sauce as well.

Not a chinese speaker but host always super friendly. Food definitely fresh and hot. Price is reasonable. Love this place.

As many have mentioned this is NOT a Dawns Kolaches franchise. Walked in thinking I was going to pick up a couple of sausage and cheeses, looked at the display and only saw balls of Chinese dough with things white people can't pronounce. Please take the Dawns sign down.

If you are looking for Chinese breakfast.... this is the right place. My favorite is their buns and rice ball.

This place was opened 3 years ago (the owner said). This is my 1st time to buy anything there. The YouTiao (fried chinese dough stick) is spongy and rubbery like a leather and no taste at all ($1.75 per stick). The tofu curd is just ok but cost $3.50???, overall experience is terrible. No more and sayaonara.

Mislabeled name, no kolaches sold here. Came here especially for the chinese style breakfast, mainly composed of dough / fried dough items. Comparing to authentic street breakfast in Beijing, the taste is subpar. Compared to options in Houston, it is average at best. Cost per item is more than expected for what it is.

A lot of items on the menu is not available, not taste good since they made long time a long, when you order they put it in the microwave reheat.

This is the worst Chinese restaurant in Houston. I went there in the morning and ordered some food. I realized that food was cold . It was leftover from last night. I asked them to make something fresh or heat them on the stove instead of Microwave. I was told they could not help with that.

I was in Texas helping family move. It has been years since I have had authentic Chinese food. The food reminded me of family. This is about as close as you will get to real Chinese food.

I truly hope sugar land will have another Chinese breakfast place so there's some competition! The food is. It bad but it sure is overpriced! A rice ball is $3.80, even a breadstick (yo-tiao) is $1.50. I didn't mind paying for the food but the business is just being so cheap now they are charging customers for the service fees of credit cards! It used to be you can only use cc for $15+, now they just make you pay for it! ‍

No service, just order. Need to be here early. What I want to order were gone. Settle what the have, green bean Neff bun the dough is to thick. The meat is ok. But this tire only place around selling pan fried bun with some variety.

One of my fav wknd bkst joints. So many different kolaches to choose from. Also offer different items such as pastries, croissants, etc. Fair prices. Inviting atmosphere with a couch, blanket and even a book and magazine share rack. They have 1 table for outdoor seating. Please bring back the chocolate and cream cheese kolache!
