We were the first customers at 11:01am and I asked if the store had the jug. She confirmed they did and I followed up by making sure we needed to spend $20 to get it. She then told us she wasn't ready and needed 10-15 minutes but would not take our order.My friend also asked about the heart shaped containers for Valentine's Day and she pointed at the sign saying there was a date. When we couldn't find one and asked again, she rudely tried to point it out but was unable to as it didn't have a date. She then said it would start ON Valentine's Day and she couldn't get one today. While I understood the situation, her tone of voice and hostility created a really uncomfortable experience for us then.We left to get lunch while we waited and when we came back, there were some people who had already ordered. We came up to order but she again wouldn't take our order as she said she needed to make the other people's drinks first. After about 5-8 minutes, she finally took our order. I asked again if I would get the jug after spending $20 and after she said yes, I ordered 2 med and 2 large pearl milk teas with no ice and 100% sugar. She originally did not get my order right and I had to correct her when my total was $5 less than it should have been. AFTER I paid, she then said that she would have to check to see if I qualified for the jug to which I pointed out that she had just told me earlier that I just needed to spend $20 per the Instagram post.After this, she started making drinks for people still ahead of us before making all of our drinks. When our drinks were ready, she told us that our order did NOT qualify for the jug. I asked again because Instagram has said we could get the jug with ANY $20 purchase. She then told us no, it was $20 or 3 large drinks. I asked for more information and she pulled a sheet from the back that clearly stated that there was a LIMIT of 3 large drinks. I pointed out that I had 2 med and 2 large drinks and that didn't hit the limit. At this point, I was incredibly frustrated. She told us she was the manager and that she was able to refund us if we didn't want the drinks anymore. I told her that I didn't care about the refund but I came to get the jug. She said she could call the owner but then went on to take orders and make other people's drinks.After another 10 minutes, she finally called the owner and went to the back. She came back with a jug and said that she was still right and we had to order 3 large specialty drinks to qualify for the jug but she was gonna be nice and give it to us since we had been waiting for our drinks for almost 30 minutes at this point.In the end, once we took the drinks to work (after taking almost 1 hr), we realized the drinks were only 70% sugar and she still got the order wrong.I don't think this manager knew what was going on and she did not provide any sort of customer service. I have worked in food and beverage and am currently a retail manager myself and would never dream of treating or talking to guests the way she talked to my friend and I. I also would have provided any information about getting the jug BEFORE I ordered and paid so that the guest could adjust their order if needed and everyone would have all the information at the beginning of the transaction.Overall, I will never return to this location due to my experience.

Will only serve you if you are not African American. One worker a male turned around and walked to the back. The girl worker stood in the back. Zero greeting. Zero customer service. I do not recommend this establishment for certain minorities. When I said, "Excuse me." The girl asked if I needed to use the restroom. How ridiculous!! I went down the street to Ding Tea...TOTALLY different. As soon as we walked in a young man said, "Hi, how may we help you?" He also said it with a smile. Big tip and I'll be back.

I love this place. Tea is good quality. Place is quiet, not overlit, consistent service, clean, quick, and bathrooms are good too. There is also a modest board game library. WiFi seems good. Parking is easy. The area is quiet and tucked in. Yesterday counter person helped me decide on an add on by sample. I greatly appreciated that. Also yesterday order was ready for me before I even finished pressing the buttons on the pad.

Fast, clean and just what I needed! I ordered the Lemon Aiyu with White Pearls, which was different from my normal boba order, but I was craving something refreshing after a heavy meal. It was surprisingly good, and I'll definitely return again for the same order since I haven't seen this on the menu anywhere else. This Gong Cha location is still little known, so most times there is no line and very quick to be in and out. Cozy for studying and catching up with friends as well.

my drink was still sweet even when I had asked for less sugar. I asked the guy if he could remake it or add more tea because it was still too sweet for me, and he looked upset about it? I have ordered this drink multiple times at other Gongcha locations and it has always been good, except here.

Lovely boba teahouse. I must say, the experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm, welcoming atmosphere that promised a great time, and it did not disappoint.The menu offers a plethora of choices, catering to a diverse range of preferences.
This is definitely the best bubble tea place in Sugar Land and it's not even close. The quality is apparent in the flavor and the boba was fresh! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I am surprised this place isn't packed all the time. It's so much better than Teahouse down the road which always seems packed for whatever reason.The only thing is someone mentioned that they may be using corn syrup to sweeten the drinks and it leaves a funny aftertaste. It's worth noting!

As a milk tea drinker, Gong cha really has the best tasting pearls out there. It is cooked perfectly chewy, not either over or undercooked. The dirty brown sugar milk foam was so good. First time to try it. I used to order wintermelon milk tea. Just remember the drink doesnt come with pearls. You have to pay extra for the pearls.
