They say open on Google and on their door it says buffet is open until 8pm. But at 7pm, the doors are locked and the steam table was already empty and cleaned and the lobby lights were off.

If you get a buffet, the owner doesn’t put food out. We had to ask for rolls and other foods

I came here 12/07/2024. The door was locked but google maps said they’re open. Then I figured they are drive thru only at this point. Waited 20 mins to talk to a middle aged lady and she has the attitude of a rebellious teenager. She clearly let out a sigh when I made a change in my order. Thru the window we could see how dirty the inside looked. And she gave us our food with no napkins, no sauce, no utensils. Clearly she doesn’t get paid enough to be happy to work here. The management of this establishment either needs to pay attention to the negative reviews and fix it or you will be out of business soon. The customers cannot be treated this way and expected to come back. Oh, and the food tasted like the misery of the people who work here. You could taste their unhappiness in this greasy mess.

I usually do take out here but decided to dine in today. Never again...the chicken (an hour after opening) was dried out with the texture of wood. The ice machine was streaked with mold...all over the soda dispenser too. It's obvious that the food on both buffets are old. The atmosphere is unappealing and the workers are totally rude. The health department needs to be contacted asap.

On Monday 12/2 around 8pm, I pulled up to the drive-thru and there were well over 10 cats lingering which is the norm at this establishment. I then noticed the back door was wide open and 5 more cats had made their way into the kitchen and walking around. I blew my horn to notify the two workers. The cook came to the door and only stated that he did not speak English. I was there about 7 minutes observing the cats just walking around the kitchen. I am disgusted!

12/21 11:30 am the store opens which I was unaware because the hours online say 11am I pulled up at 11:11 waited about 5-10 mins at the window saying hello. I assumed the speaker was not working so I pulled up and see an older lady on the phone.with no acknowledgment she continues to fold towels so I honk the horn after a couple minutes of being even more patient . I see people (customers) at the register . That clearly came after me . She finally comes to window no greeting or anything and ask what do you want . This lady needs to be fired this is not my first time. Coming here and she has a very horrible attitude not customer friendly at all. She need to be in the back and not dealing with customers…

Normally the food here is not so bad but today I ordered 2 gizzards meal and kids chicken tenders. These gizzards are so hard I can't eat them and so was the fried okra. I'm so disappointed

Chicken is delicious always hot and fresh. Never had a complaint about the food. HOWEVER the wait at the drive thru is UNBEARABLE. Management should step in and really talk to them about this. Even 3 cars in the drive way won’t be worth the wait of the food. Currently typing this as I have been in the driveway with two cars ahead of me for TEN MINUTES NOW. DO BETTER

Their chicken, livers and gizzards are so good. He cooks it fresh, even for the buffet and they are not expensive. They could spend a little on upgrading the place

The Only thing I would consider to be negative is that their AC unit was broken ? The food was great and the service was great, it seems that the broken air didn't affect the service we were given, and I definitely anticipate on the next visit the AC will be working properly, and the Only other Hartz that I've visited is on Fondren at Beechnut St. going towards 59/69 SW freeway.. Great Day!!!
