Naka Ramen in Sugar Land has been our go-to spot for years, and it never disappoints! This cozy little gem is tucked away in a big shopping center, but it’s absolutely worth seeking out. The ramen options are fantastic, and while they do have other items on the menu, we always stick to the ramen because it’s just that good.
Each of us has our favorite: I go for the beef ramen, my daughter loves the chicken, my wife is hooked on the spicy miso, and my son enjoys the kid’s shoyu ramen. The flavors are always spot-on, and the prices are fair, making it a great value.
The staff is amazing—friendly, attentive, and consistent. We’ve been going so often that they know us by now, which adds a personal touch to the experience. If you’re in Sugar Land and craving ramen, I can’t recommend Naka Ramen enough!

I ordered ramen 🍜 from DoorDash and waited an hour for it to be delivered. When it was delivered some of my items were not in the bag. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager and he told me that because it was a DoorDash order they couldn’t deliver the remaining items but assured me that if I made the drive which was an hour round trip they would make the situation right. As I arrived they had my items prepared, apologized many times and wished me a nice day. Thank you Naka Ramen Bar for making a hungry and upset customer happy!

Very casual. I ordered online to go. I like the vegetables Ramen. They were able to make it with no soy.
It was confusing when I picked my food up because he lead the conversation with "this order comes with soy...." leading me to believe my time and money were wasted..gave me anxiety for 60 seconds🥴
Finally he said there was no soy. They took it out. He should've started with that sentence. 😮💨
The spring rolls were nothing special same as most resteraunts. Mushy bland inside good golden crisp on the outside.
Today I went back for another order. This time a lady took my order. When I added the spring rolls she cut me off as if to say she remembered my order from yesterday.
The knots are tight when they bag your food and in a hurry to clock back into work I grabbed the food got it home cut the bag open no spring rolls. Looked at receipt she never rung it up. I was so hungry and needed that little filler.
I still recommend eating here just make sure they repeat your order and don't let them rush you off the phone.

This is my go-to for some comforting tonkatsu ramen when it gets cold outside! They’re great about packaging their ramen and toppings for pickup so nothing spills and the broth stays hot all the way home! I also love their chicken karage as an appetizer or entree, the sauce is DELICIOUS with the crispy of the chicken~
Definitely recommend stopping here if you want ramen and a nice, calm atmosphere to eat in ✌🏻

Nicely spaced tables and it wasn’t crazy busy for a weekday lunch. The scallion pancake was deliciously crispy and the pork was melt in your mouth soft. Definitely worth checking out!

This place is a little hidden gem off of highway 6. Y’all really gotta try this place if you love ramen.
