This place has declined over the past year, the waiter looked liked he's been wearing the same shirt and pants for days and seemed bored to serve us, the napkins were dirty and the rice served was either old or under cooked. It was not eatable. The rest of our meal was just ok at best. I used to love this place, but I'm thinking I won't being going back. To sad.

Very vegetarian unfriendly restaurant with a nice ambience. The one star is for ambience and my waiter who was sensitive. The menu has nothing vegetarian. It used to be this way in 2000 when we first moved to Fort Bend but I see that after 23 years nothing has changed. The menu and management attitude to vegetarians as reflected in menu needs to change. My waiter who was sensitive to this vegetarian's needs said he will ask kitchen to give me white rice (coz Mexican rice has chicken broth) and rustle up a veggie fajita. What I got was an overpriced plate of white rice, guac and very few veggies, few black beans and some corn tortillas for about $20. "it is priced same as the chicken fajita", I was told. Given the sparse veggies, maybe it was chicken fajita without the chicken and with insipid white rice? My message to the management, given how diverse Houston and especially Fort Bend county is: you are missing out big money by dismissing vegetarian customers. Huge money can be made by making small changes Suggest the following: 1. Add a spinach enchilada 2. Make the Mexican rice with veggie broth or add a cilantro rice which is vegetarian. 3. Make vegetarian fajitas a menu item and deliver flavor. No one wants to pay $20 for white rice, beans and a few onions. Please try the veggie fajita at Los Tios or any other competing place and you'll see what I mean. 4. Add a vegetarian quesadilla and/or power bowl with flavorful rice, guac, corn, cilantro, pico, sliced avocado. With few changes you can attract more customers. Until that happens, no going back to Ninfa's and will ask my friends to stay away.
