I am an almost regular customer here. I usually order the salmon or the medium steak . I was so hungry, but the steak was so flavorless, fried on the outside and dull on the inside. Also the menu said cooked in butter but it was cooked in oil, which makes a lot of difference if anyone knows what I am talking about. The deviled eggs and the dill pickles were awesome as usual. Won’t try meat from here anymore. But the bar is vibrant and chill😍

I had the htxhamburger and let me say this, the mince they use for the burger is so flavorful. Fatty, salty and just an excellent elevated homestyle burger! Fresh veggies and I'm pretty sure housemade pickles are offered with it. An easy 10/10! The staff is attentive and since they have a solid range of beers they offer samples so you can find one that's right for you if you're not familiar with the different types they offer. My only slight complaint was that the crinkle cut fries were clearly just frozen from a bag. Handcut, homemade fries would be (imo) a better option for such a delicious burger. All in all, I will be back to try the schnitzel and the bangers and mash and of course a few more of the delicious beers they offer 🍻

We were passing though. Texas Biergarten was a great stop. We highly recommend this restaurant.
They had a good choice of beer. The food was amazing. The pork schnitzel, mushroom gravy, German potato salad and red cabbage were delicious!!!!
We also love that they were dog friendly. They immediately brought a water bowl for our pup. They cooked a grilled chicken without spices for our dog! Everyone was so friendly and loved on our pup.
The service was great!!! We will definitely be back.

The pretzel was dry/over baked but okay. The price for it was too high imo. I had the pork schnitzel (no gravy) mashed potatoes and the red cabbage. All were excellent. My friend had the Chicken Fried steak, mashed potatoes, cucumber dill salad. She enjoyed her very much.
We tried a piece of the Texas sheet cake. It was a little disappointing. It was flat, not a thick piece of cake. It tasted okay but the price was too high for the piece I was served.
The prices of the main courses were decent and I would go back if I am in the area.

only giving 2 stars because of the nice lady that works there. And I appreciate the free dessert when I went back
called in a order for chicken tenders cause thats all i saw on the menu online, but i guess its called a tender basket. so when i called in i said can i get chicken tenders and he said ok. i came to pick up the food, waitress was very nice.
i got home and opened the order and it was kid sized. the chicken was super hard and overcooked, and for $12 it didnt seem like a big enough portion. I called on the phone and told them what happened and all the guy said was "I'll spread the word around ". Spreading the word around doesn't get me dinner or my money back so I asked to speak with a manager and when he got on the phone, I heard the kid that I was speaking to say "he didn't like his food "and I told the manager it's not that I didn't like it. It was literally inedibly hard like the chicken tenders were over fried and all he wanted to talk about is the fact that I ordered a kids meal because I mentioned the portion size and I said that I didn't order a kids meal or at least on the phone. The guy said nothing about it being a kids meal.

The guy said I could come back and get another order. I don't live far away, but I get anxiety complaining about things like this and didn't really wanna go back out of my house tonight cause I've been driving around a lot today. It's been a long day, so I asked him if I could get a credit and get the food another time and he said he has too big of a weight staff for that and that he could not do it even though he got my name and number. The restaurant holds barely 60 people. I have never heard of a restaurant not being able to take a name down for a credit. my family is in the restaurant business and we would never do that. It's completely weird and unprofessional, I explained I lived 10 minutes away, and I said what if I lived far away. Then he got an attitude and winded me and said you just told me you lived 10 minutes away. That's not the point. Then he said he would deliver it and asked me for a receipt number. It was only 1163 so I didn't take the receipt with me. Then he goes "no we can't do that "I said that's ridiculous. I'm just coming in. How are you gonna offer to deliver it to me and then not do it you could literally check your phone history and see that I'm the one that called it in and picked up the food or ask the woman that checked me out to verify. She was the best part of all. I don't know if she was the owner or what, but she was very nice and had a nice conversation with me while I waited for them to remake the food. I still don't know what happened if they gave me a kids meal on accident but most kids meals for chicken tenders aren't $12 and either way it's hard so a kid wouldn't like it either. I would probably not go back. I tell the guy on the phone but he was standing there so I didn't. His attitude in person sure was different than the attitude on the phone. Just really unprofessional and it wasn't even a big deal to begin with. I just didn't wanna leave the house again tonight , if he didn't have an attitude, I never would've had one either

The third picture is after they remade it, the chicken is definitely soft now, but the guy told me the chicken strips are "huge "is huge in the room with us lol? These are a couple bites each. Would never get this again there

Ordered a pick up order for 2 burgers and received Texas toast instead of the challah buns.called the establishment to let them know and all they could say was there must have been a language barrier because I asked for toast the buns on both sides the cook thought I wanted toast. Will not be back to this establishment EVER! Tater tots tasted liked they had been reheated and were cold. Received potatoes instead of French fries.

An ok place serving Texas Hill Country fare. HOWEVER, it could do much better without much tweaking. Having grown up in the Fredericksburg area, I am used to what GermTex food is. The red cabbage was too sweet for my taste, and it needed more twang with vinegar. Adding bacon fat would also help the flavor to elevate it from a 5 to a 7 or 8. I had the grilled chicken. It was a little dry and slightly overcooked. Marinating it would help with the flavor. I also had the Miillers bratwurst. Plain. It would be better if cooked in the pecan porter. Soak it for a few hours to raise the flavor to an 8. The grilled zucchini was good, but needed that little extra punch of flavor.
Service was good. The beer on tap was very good. I had the pecan porter with the meal, and a blueberry dark for a desert beer. Quite good.
I liked the place. It just needs that extra to move it from ok to wonderful.
