VERY small Saturday buffet. IF you count the french fries, chicken nuggets, & basic garden salad then there are six offerings plus typical dessert (gulab jamun) ... Pretty pathetic. The fried rice was labeled vegetarian fried rice but had delicious chunks of chicken in it, the rice and vegetables themselves were just average. The vegetable pekoras were pretty good. The tandoor chicken was actually delicious. The chai was decent. Not a negative experience per se but the advertisements...

So sad how this place has changed from last time but we did go during a buffet previously which I felt was better than this dinner experience. Malabar fish dish was so fishy and I’m not sure the spices were done correctly. I couldn’t ask my husband who is from India because he has never had Malabar but he smelled it and agreed.

“The best Kerala meals and fish I ever had”
If you want to have an authentic big fat Kerala meals, this is the place. I have been to Grand Hotel many times and the taste and quality are very consistent. Make sure you also try "Grilled pampano". This is their speciality and you can't get a more delicious one outside.
