Hubby prefers an old fashion and there is plenty good whisky to choose from. Tuesday singo bingo night is always a great time too!

An excellent experience from start to finish, brunch to dinner! Every wait staff member is fantastic, the owners are personable, down to earth and are always floating around the restaurant. As far as the food goes, anything you order will be top tier. It's truly everything you want in a fine dining experience nestled in a small town. We've never been disappointed with service or any menu item we've had. I can't recommend it enough!

I've gone a few times to try to form an honest opinion, so here's my story for those who want more than a one-time experience review. The first time my wife and I went, we had the crab cakes and the spinach dip with a couple of drinks. We went in on recommendations from friends about how good things were and were not disappointed by any means about our service or quality of food. My wife and I had agreed beforehand that we were just going in for a taste the first time, and both left in agreeance we'd be back very soon. The second time we visited, we ordered the shrimp pasta and steak dishes (I DO NOT order steak anywhere because it's always always underseasoned) and were completely floored with how awesome the food was. Our service was great this time around as well. The third time we went in was for dinner service, and man, was it busy! Service was just as good as the previous times before, even with a packed house. I really wanted to try to be thrown for a loop, so I told the waiter to bring me whatever the chef wanted to serve me. My wife ordered the chicken Alfredo flat bread, and I was surprised with the Manhattan flat bread. This was hands down the most well-balanced plate of food I've ever had. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The steak was cooked beyond better than anything I could have asked for. I sat through the entire meal in awe of how awesome the food is. I have had the pleasure to speak with Kody (executive chef) for a few minutes to thank him for serving such awesome food. He's really personable and talking to him briefly it's very apparent he values the quality of what his diners receive rather than the quantity. It's a breath of fresh air ESPECIALLY for this area where so much mediocre junk is served daily. The same tired food has been served in this area for so long that it's extremely refreshing to see new ideas being brought forth in such delicious and creative manner. Each time I've visited, I've been greeted and sat promptly. Food has been amazing as well as served in a timely manner. The decor inside and out definitely gives the lounge feel, as the name suggests. The only thing I've come up with as far as a dislike goes would be the volume of the music at non peak hours. When it was packed, music seemed great, but when there's not as many people, my wife and I both agreed it could be turned down a few notches. But I'll take some tunes, an awesome chef, and good service over just about any restaurant in this area.

I have been to Coctel several times and it never disappoints! The crab cakes, peppered tuna, truffle fries, filet, and table side s’mores are our food favorites. My go-to drinks are espresso martini, spicy lemon, and the off -menu “Mother-in-law” which is a SMOKED Cabernet! Once, my husband and I went on a date night there, but had to bring our 1 year old. She wouldn’t eat anything so the owner, Taylor, had the chef prepare a special carrot purée that my daughter gobbled up! Can’t say enough good things about this place and the people that work there! Well done!

I had the chicken buffalo tacos which was FANTASTIC with the dill cream sauce. The restaurant is also beautiful and the service was EXCELLENT! Bailey took care of us and she could not have been any better, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and beyond sweet. I can't wait to go back and try more!

We sat outside due to unavailability inside, started raining and their roof cover started leaking and it got my food wet and my cosmo drink almost full of rain water. Waitress offer to bring me another plate I said yes please and make it to go. At the end when I was paying they were charging me for a full plate and gave a discount on the one that got wet. I was not ok with that, because that’s not what I expected waitress claim the manager name Taylor said that’s all she could do give me 75% off the wet plate and charge me full price for the 2nd plate. I told the waitress then here I don’t want this to go plate you can have it back. I asked to speak to the manager, when I explain she replied with that it wasn’t her fault my food got wet and that they are a small business and can’t be losing money.I believe the situation wasn’t handle the proper way by the manager.

Went here for my birthday with my wife and friends for it being in Mont Belvieu the food is phenomenal. I didn't have one bad thing. The cocktails were on point. If this restaurant was in Houston there would be a line out the door every night. I've lived in Vegas before and the food is as good as anything you will find on the strip. Truly a hidden gem, check it out before it gets too popular and you can't get a table.
