We randomly decided to stop at JoJack’s for lunch on our way back to Tennessee. It was the right decision! Everything was absolutely delicious. We had ribs, potato salad, baked beans, and brussel sprouts. Every single item was so good!
The customer base may need to get a real taste of BBQ at another establishment. This may be the only way they know BBQ. As a retired Chef, BBQ judge, this was not a great place to eat. You don't get enough meat,per serving. They ran out of pork at 4:30... Their famous ," fried pies," Apple only, was very greasy, not a bargain at 7.50$ each...
Overall it was pretty good. I had the chicken and it was very dry and surprisingly low on smoke taste. My wife had the elote bowl with brisket and it was great! Brussels were ok and potato salad was ok. It was freezing inside! Turn on some heat.
