Just had breakfast here this morning. The food was delicious.
If you haven’t had breakfast at Laura’s - you should!!!

Laura’s has some of the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had! Serve on corn instead of flour tortillas, It’s presented on a hot skillet and keeps it so very hot hot hot! Super tasty! 100% will come back when I’m in Mount Pleasant again!

Key lime pie and lemon blueberry is what we had. Neither slice had much flavor. Nice place, otherwise.

This place is a MUST stop if you’re going thru Mt. Pleasant! It’s so comfortable, clean, and spacious inside. The staff is beyond courteous!!! Moving onto the good stuff…the food. Ohhhmyyyyyygawwwwt! The FOOD! Okay so we got the pancake platter and they were perfectly browned and super fluffy and heyyylooooo…they MAKE THEIR OWN SYRUP!!! Sooo goood! Plus they ask how you want your bacon cooked…like what restaurant asks you that….above and beyond!!!!!! Also got a side of HOMEMADE…yes they’re actually homemade…biscuits and gravy. Lo and behold you get the most awesome surprise of there being bacon dripping gravy to pour over the killer biscuits! I cannot say enough good things about this place! 10/10 recommend!!!!

Place is very clean and the staff seemed genuinely nice. Unfortunately the cheesecake was ok at best and overpriced for the amount you get. We are not impressed but also not too disappointed either. It is worth trying and if you like it Awesome, if you don’t well it’s worth the one time visit.

The best place for lunch in Mt Pleasant. Lots of options and fabulous desserts. The iced tea selection is wonderful. Always a peach or raspberry tea that my friends all love. I love the classic iced tea.

I ordered catering for a work event, the lasagna and the chicken spaghetti was a hit for everyone! We will definitely be ordering for future events.

Ordered food for delivery, prepaid, it arrived late and was cold, soup was cold, sandwich was cold and cross contaminated with a smear of unrequested avocado. I then bought a slice of cheese cake, the cream praline to one side was green with mold, the cake was prepped 09/17 the cheese cake had separated in the package, overall very disappointing, I had heard good things but they were not good today.

Edit update, After speaking with the owner she did verify it was an off day and made offers for correction, as I said I have heard many good things and will be giving them a try again this time in person not delivery. I do recommend giving them a try as the ingredients were top quality they did show an expertise in preparation.

Loved the historical space. We stopped here on our road trip, and made a point of stopping back by on the way home. The food is absolutely the best, and the homemade tortilla chips are soooo good!

Great short detour for lunch off I-30, staff was so friendly and food was great too! Lots to choose from with soups, salads, sandwiches, and many selections of cheesecake & cookies to choose from as well. Really cute homey decor with old fashioned recipes on the wall. Definitely worth a stop!
