Get the shrimp bowl, you won't regret it 😁
Food and service was amazing. 1 star was for experience with manager Amber. Me and my wife went out to eat for her birthday and chose your establishment to celebrate, everything was perfect until i asked if they could sing happy birthday when they bring out the dessert. They brought out all the dessert, put it on the table and gave me an excuse in front of my wife why they couldnt sing happy birthday to her. i definitely wouldn't of bought all the dessert if it wasn't a surprise to celebrate, but the embarrassing moment that i had in front of my wife that was completely unacceptable for a customer who is trying to do something special for his wife on her day. Do better Jalapeno, because customer service is key!

Food and bartender was great. They don't take American Express though. Wish I had known before I walked in.

Husband and I have been to this restaurant many of times and tonight was the first time we had a horrible experience. Waited over an hour for our food. I get it was busy but the way the night manager (adam) handled the employees was terrible. The bartender was busting her butt and was doing an amazing job and the manager was yelling at her in front of employees and customers. If your a manager, you do not yell at your employees in front of anyone. The way he treats his employees is terrible and he's gotten too comfortable with his job! We tipped the bartender and we didn't even order alcohol. All I gotta say is, either the manager needs to get some better training or he needs to go. Yelling, throwing food on employees, etc...shouldn't be acceptable to the owner. Just because your a manager or owner, doesn't give you the right to abuse the employees.
OK, just ordered some sides of beans and rice for a dinner we are having. They only have pints which they stated would feed 3 to 4 people. I pick up the order 20 minutes later and when I got back, most of the pints aren’t even filled to the top. The worse part, it cost me $90.84 plus tip. Stay away from this restaurant as on top of being scammed, the beans and rice aren’t very good.

I eat here every time I'm in town. Great Tex-Mex. I travel a lot so I am comparing this to many great Tex-Mex places in South Texas.
