Sooo good! It was three of us. We had the chicken schnitzel, red cabbage, fried potatoes and German potato salad, rolls and finished off with a slice of apple pie. Best mustard I’ve ever had. Bought some to take home it was so good. So worth the stop. Good ole comfort food in a small town.
This is a good restaurant, the catfish was excellent. loved the salad bar. Nice people who talked with me and were interested. later on i talked to people in st. Jo and they told me it was their favorite in the region. lucky me!
Staff was excellent.
If you order the Western Omelet, beware it is griddle style, not fluffy. It was good, but it had too many tomatoes to me. Hashbrowns were bland. Cinnamon roll was ... flat. Coffee, not strong enough. Was hoping for German breakfast items.
