I will never go back here again. We told them we needed to be quick and placed a drink order after they said they could accommodate. It took them like 30 minutes to get it to us so we told them we had to leave because our baby had bedtime. They complained and made us pay for a drink they never made and we never drank. It also smelled like vomit??

We used to loved coming here but this location has gone downhill over the years. Some of my favorite items (like the chicken pesto sandwich) are no longer. Service is definitely not why we liked coming here, however, the server we had the other night wasn’t too bad.
I ordered wings with buffalo sauce on the side and the wing sauce had a really weird taste, so I asked for blue cheese dressing to maybe mask it and I don’t know if it was the brand or what but with every dip, the dressing kept separating more and more like oil and water. It looked disgusting and I had to stop eating. The banana pudding I used to love was terrible. I ordered it to go hoping it would be a silver lining to the end of my meal… nope. Got home and it was covered in whip cream. When I got underneath that to take a bite, I realized it was mostly brown. Tried to eat around the discoloration but it didn’t taste great.
Other than that drink specials, this location doesn’t have much to offer.

The best drink specials in all of Murphy! The fried pickles were hot and came out promptly. Amazing service at the bar despite the gal being very busy. Only negative, I waited close to 30 minutes for a military discount to be applied to my check— the bartender said she was having trouble locating her manager. Will be back again!

Had a 10/10 experience tonight! Our waitress morgan was very on top of things despite being busy. Music was great and food was good. The manager seemed young but was very friendly. She checked on us multiple times and chatted with us on the patio. She reminded us of the good times here back in the day when we used to come all the time.

I was looking forward to a great experience to watch a football game and have some good food however it was not the right choice to go there. Service was terrible and no one wants to help or assist! Numerous waitresses would walk by and totally ignore us seeing we've sat there for 45 mins without food! Took 45 mins to get our appetizer and never even got my drink filled up during waiting. Other people that came in after us we're being served and getting their food. Out of 3 us getting a chicken meal and tasted like rubber. Unfortunately it was a bad experience. I went to the manager even and she did wave our appetizer because it took so long, but she never came back to check on us or to see if we were doing OK which we were not. Then we had to wait for at least 40 minutes for our ticket to pay. Clearly, they don’t know how to train their stuff.

I’ve been here a few times but this last visite made it clear that things have gone downhill. The place was dirty and empty on a Friday night. The waitress handed us a menu that had an honest to god jalapeño slice stuck to it. She took our drink orders and grabbed those quickly, but took so long to come back that we just decided to leave. The menu is tiny anyway. I wouldn’t waste your time.

All workers are unattentive and have no business in customer service. My husband stood there over 15 minutes for our online to go order. Oh They see you they’re walking back and forth but they refuse to acknowledge and help you.

He had to flag someone at the bar to get our food. I can’t imagine the customers who actually were dining in. It seems all the employees here are young girls that definitely have poor work ethics. It was like this years ago when it was boomerjacks and nothing has changed under this new ownership.

We definitely won’t ever be going back. If you’re thinking of coming here ; don’t. Too many other food choices around Murphy.

This place used to be the most amazing place ever it has become complete garbage and I come around and the bartenders are just nowhere near what they used to be I show up and have Cherie as my bartender I've had a few drinks and I bought a few drinks from my friends and she is so miscalculated on who drank what and who hasn't drank anything and it's pathetic and I'm disgusted by it I don't have any respect for BoomerJack's in Murphy Texas anymore it's nothing like it used to be Cherie to me was very rude I'm so sad that Teddy had to go I've got no love and respect for this place anymore and they really need to replace their bartenders this girl little he cut me off after a few drinks and continue to serve guys that were 21 and 22 years old multiple drinks after all these years I think it's time that I speak up this woman does not belong behind the bar and she is not aware of what's going on

The portions of food seem smaller than what they used to be, and we waited for a long time. The atmosphere is nice though, especially with the outdoor patio.

I got seated within a good time, pretty much no wait. After I was seated, I decided to sign up for the rewards. After I signed up it said that I had 120 minutes to show the server. I walked out with 104 minutes left to tell the server. I got no service but for the water in the beginning, before signing up for the rewards. This place doesn’t have structure on servers and the areas they serve. With the prices and the food this place has, this place should be busy. I see why it isn’t. It’s garbage service. The servers need training. They were walking around cluelessly, they all looked at me and did nothing! Crappy experience!!! This is my first and my last!!!

It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I was please to see it hadn’t actually changed much. It was pretty obvious the regulars were at the bar when a friend of mine and I rolled in for Happy Hour. 🍻
My ONLY knock was after shift change and before we left our new waitress seemed to not know much about the bar and what drinks they could make. I inquired about making something and after they confirmed they could make it, I ordered it without ice. The waitress brought me my drink with ice and I informed her that wasn’t how I ordered it. She promptly took the drink back to the bar, obviously told the bartender I wanted no ice, and I watched them strain the drink into another glass and immediately deliver to our table.
Thus the concept that I didn’t want ice or water in my drink was completely foreign to the waitress AND bar tender.
Next time I’ll make sure the waitstaff understands my request (yes, I’ll be one of THOSE customers). Otherwise, I’m sure we’ll be back.
