The day I went here (Murphy, TX) was random. Not the usual location I eat at. But, on this day there was only 1 worker in the restaurant. He was cooking, serving and waiting tables by himself because his coworker called in. I usually eat the same dish when I visit Dennys. Although the gentleman did a great job holding things together by himself, I can't go without saying the dish wasn't all that great. Not what I'm used to. I wouldn't highly Dennys (at this location) have backup when their employees call in so that the taste of food doesn't go lacking. 2 stars.

I ordered food at 2AM for pickup, arrived at the location and was met with locked doors. Their own website listed their restaurant as open as well as any other website. They will not answer the phone either, essentially stole my 32 bucks. I need a refund. Order # 37184865696530432

Andrew was only server here late night food was great excellent customer service and served 5 of us im a really good timing food tasted great would definitely recommend this location also Andrew had the table perfectly clean as if Jesus himself was preparing to feast lol 5 out of 5 star rating

This was the best Denny's experience we've had in years. My over medium eggs were cooked perfectlyâjust the right balance of firm whites and runny yolksâand they looked just as good as they tasted. Our waitress, Cat, was incredibly friendly and she took great care of us - making sure we had everything we needed. The location itself was clean, well lit, and properly staffed. We drove a little farther to come to this location and we would do it again. You should too.

I donât even know where to begin. This was hands down one of the most revolting dining experiences Iâve ever had. The food? Completely inedible. I wouldnât serve it to a stray dog. My eggs were rubbery, the meat tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since last week, and donât even get me started on the âtoastâ â it was soggy and cold, like it had been chewed and spit back out.
But what made it worse â so much worse â was the manager. This man spent the entire time berating and micromanaging the poor staff right in front of customers. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. He barked orders, hovered like a prison guard, and had the audacity to glare at servers for taking two seconds to catch their breath. Absolutely disgusting behavior from someone whoâs supposed to lead.
The servers and busser were the only saving grace. They were kind, patient, and clearly doing their best despite the toxic environment. It was obvious theyâre working hard and trying to survive under a manager who doesnât know how to lead â only how to intimidate.
These employees deserve so much better. They deserve a manager who uplifts them, not one who treats them like garbage in front of guests. Iâll never step foot in this location again, and I hope someone higher up sees this and does something about the horrible leadership poisoning this place.
The bathroom was also disgusting, dirty tables, nasty floors. One of the employees was going to clean but the manager started to yell and threaten to fire because âthatâs not her jobâ. Disappointing.

I donât usually leave reviews, but my recent experience at Dennyâs was just awful and I feel like people should know. First of all, we waited almost 30 minutes just to be seated â and the place wasnât even that busy. Once we were finally seated, it took another 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. The server seemed rushed and barely acknowledged us.
When the food finally came out, it was cold. My eggs were rubbery, the bacon was barely cooked, and the pancakes were dry. I sent it back, and they didnât even bother to apologize. Just microwaved it and brought it back. Disgusting. On top of that, the restaurant wasnât clean â floors sticky, tables not wiped down, and a weird smell in the air.
Worst part? The staff just seemed like they didnât care. No hospitality, no effort to fix anything. This is not what I expect when I go out to eat, especially at a chain thatâs supposed to be reliable.
Save yourself the time and money. Iâll never go back.

I came at 8:30am and they had no hasbrowns, which is a cornerstone of any good breakfast meal. The staff was rude and did not work with us for a good hasbrown replacement, only offering lesser potatoes or fruit, not even an extra egg or strip of bacon for their lack of hasbrowns. The overall atmosphere was not great, but not terrible. The rest of the food was good, nothing outstanding but good. Overall, I don't think I will return when there are better breakfast places like South Fork right down the street

Took my parents here and we all loved it! The food was delicious and itâs a great bang for your buck. 3 people ate for $24, you cannot get better than that. Andrew was very attentive and made our experience wonderful. Great service!
