My pregnant wife was served spoiled salmon. She took a single bite and stated “ this tastes bad, too fishy “. We thought maybe it wasn’t properly cleaned because salmon can have a very distinct taste if not cleaned throughly. After further examination it was a bad piece of salmon. Also they no longer use garlic butter, they use regular butter which completely changed the taste of the food.

Adrian was our chef and his food is phenomenal! Service was top notch and quality/price cannot be beat. We came here years ago (under old owner) and new owner has turned it around and made this a wonderful place.

Came tonight and had amazing food cooked by Adrian. Love their salad dressing and soup but the best thing was the shrimp and filet. We used to come here years ago and the new owner has done fantastic with the place, decor, and food! Highly recommend.

Got there 1.5 hours before they close and they closed their hibachi -_-
Our server was friendly, as was the teppanyaki chef. As far as the food, not so great. The rice was very crunchy compared to other hibachi places we have dined. I ordered the filet medium and received well done. I also asked for well done vegetables and they were very underdone and crunchy. Others in the party had to ask multiple times for their appetizers, which were finally served after everyone had their meals in front of them. I can honestly say this is the worst hibachi restaurant I have ever been to. Hubs thought it was fair. They have really good reviews, so maybe they just had an off night.
Oh, and I did feel that it was kind of gross that the chef used the same spatula while cooking raw shrimp, and then going directly to the almost done vegetables with it.

We have been going and sitting at the sushi bar (Murphy) for years. As we miss the old owners, John (sushi chef) has done an amazing job and is a pleasure to talk too. Brandon (Manager) does a great job making sure customers are taking care of. The service staff is very focused on the customers. Ashley, Preston and Jonathan do very well at attending to the customers. This is a great place for a family dinner.

Edit (Day Later): This place literally gave my whole family food poisoning and our shoes were covered in some dark gunk stuck to their chairs (assume it was old grease) this place is a dumpster fire. Stay far away
This place was rather empty on a Saturday night, so I would’ve expected the staff to guest ratio to yield favorable service, that was not the case. 20 minutes we waited for drinks, it took three tries to get the order right and the waitress (Ashley) had the audacity to say it was our fault for ordering an item she had to search for? Why have it on the menu to begin with? A 20 minute search for sake is wild.
I don’t know if I have the solution to their problems, maybe change your name back to Hana? Would be easier if the letters were working I guess. I don’t know, I just know what’s happening now is not working. Chef was B-grade, but at least he tried, cant say the same for Ashley, do better girl, all I am going to say.
Kid-friendliness: Servers bedside manner was certainly NOT kid-friendly

There should be an option to leave 0 stars. My husband and I were seated in the hibachi room and sat for 20 minutes without even a drink order taken. I understand waiting for more folks to join at the hibachi (instead of just serving 2)… but there is absolutely no reason to be neglected for that period of time with no drinks. Little did they know we were planning on ordering one of the most expensive meals.

Sushi was good and that’s all I’d recommend. We got the chicken hibachi, chicken had no flavor and was over cooked. Service would have been better if two workers would have been off tictok in the room next to us.
Just not good. Photo is out meats waiting to be cooked!
Good luck

I hate to leave a negative review, but I believe it's warranted in this case. This restaurant used to far surpass Benihana in terms of food quality, price, and drinks. However, something seems to have changed since I last dined here about a year ago.
We ordered a California Roll, a Spicy Tuna Roll, and a combination fried rice. The sushi, which was pre-rolled, ended up being the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, when my fried rice arrived, it had a burnt taste. I called the waiter over, and he showed it to the manager, who confirmed that it was indeed burnt. They took it back and returned with a new plate of fried rice, but it had the exact same burnt taste. The shrimp tasted so bad that I was afraid to swallow and ended up spitting it out.
I left the restaurant still hungry and so upset that I didn't even want to wait for the manager. I just paid the bill and left. Hana, you've lost a long-time customer who used to consistently praise your restaurant. I'm not sure if the issue was with the rice, a dirty grill, or the chef's preparation, but I do know that I won't be coming back.

We dine often at Hana, but this Sunday was one of the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The restaurant had no AC making it unbearable inside. On top of that the customer service was horrible. The waitress was uninterested to tend to us. She sat down 80% of the time while we were there and just fanned her self with a paper fan. Hana was one of our favorite places to eat locally but after this experience we will never go back again. They also added a 18% gratuity with out notice. I would not recommend this restaurant unless they made some serious improvements.

I’ve been visiting this location for years, through 3+ name changes. We visited last Saturday night for hibachi. I love their yum yum sauce, and the meat is always well flavored fresh off the grill. Despite there being open tables in the main dining area and at the hibachi tables in the main room, we were asked to wait in the lobby area for about 15 minutes. The host seemed to be working the front, the bar, and taking payments for tables throughout the restaurant. He was friendly, but clearly over extended and busy. We were seated at a hibachi table with one other couple. I was concerned we’d be waiting for a while for our chef since the attached table was being cooked for, but our chef came out rather quickly. There were no kids at the table so the “show” was rather quick, but I think we all appreciated that because we were hungry lol. We did get to do the initial fire, the catch an egg in your mouth, and the choo choo/volcano tricks though. The chef was attentive giving each of us our requested sauces, and cooking our steaks perfectly. We started with the crab puffs, similar to crab wontons which were cooked and fine, but more cream cheese than crab. I ordered the dinner hibachi with filet and scallops and upgraded to friend rice, and my husband ordered the dinner shrimp hibachi with friend rice. The soup is served hot with a couple of slices of mushrooms, and the salad comes with a giant spoonful of ginger dressing. Hibachi dinner comes with clear soup, salad, white rice, noodles, 2 shrimp appetizer, and veggies. My filet was cooked perfectly medium rare, cooked in butter, salt and pepper, and a touch of sauce, it was melt in your mouth tasty. The scallops were also cooked well tender, not rubbery, hot and seared perfectly. Shrimp were cooked in butter, seasoning, and teriyaki style sauce. So much food, so many leftovers, and full bellies. The only downside was that we couldn’t get drinks or pay the bill, and we tried. The drink refills are kind of a big deal here, as everything is salty, so this was frustrating. Our server was nice and took our order quickly bringing us our first drink quickly as well. But we didn’t see her again after that, and no one, besides our chef, came to serve us after that. She was seated with a large party in the main dining room shortly after we were seated, and it seemed like she was too busy with them to tend to us. That seemed to be the issue in general, not enough employees to manage the number of customers present. We grabbed our own to go containers and had to leave the table twice to ask to pay. The host finally came back so we could pay on the machine, and we didn’t see our server a second time. Overall, will be back for the food, but aware they are understaffed.
