UPDATE 9-25: New, new ownership destroyed the place (been like 4 owners over the past couple of years). Dirty, let go of long standing employees with no reasoning, and now are closed--probably permanently. Sad because used to be one of my favorite places in Murphy..
9-22: Hana is fantastic for being local to where we live. More reasonably priced than some of the big chains. Kudos to the team for always doing a great job and the management asking how everything is going during the meal.
It is quite warm around the grill but the place is beautiful. The food and the performance by the chef were great!

Not open when indicated on internet and front door.
Been going here for years, came today at 12:20 to find them closed with no note on the door and not answering the phone either. Their open hours are 11:00 to 2:30 on Fridays. Very dissapointed

We have been going here for over 12 years and seen it change management and names. We were very disappointed with our visit this weekend. It was very hot inside and even moving closer to a fan they had it was still warm. Service was very slow and came out at different times with my daughter’s food coming out last. There were some not a couple tables eating n the non habachi area. The soap in the bathroom had been diluted quite a bit with water which is not very hygienic.
The only good thing was our waitress who was very sweet and patient. We will not be going back and will find a new sushi place to go to.

First we were not greated and also the waitress did not tell us her name. It was uncomfortably hot in the building. The workers had set a portable fan on us and then they went and put ice in some air conditioning mechine and forgot to put the fan back on us. We ordered our food and it took way too long for the food to come out. On top of that all the food came out all after different times. I ordered the filet mignon medium and when it came out it was well done and salty. I did not finish my meal. I got to the bathroom and nearly bust my ass because the floors are so slippery. This restaurant needs some help. I or my family will not return to this restaurant is was that bad. Our bill was around $360 and for sure was definitely not worth it.

Check your to go order as they will forget items and then make you drive back to the restaurant to refund you when they could easily refund your credit card over the phone!
A delicious experience that was reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food. Service was decent enough with friendly staff. Thank you to them all for their service.
They got 2 out of 3 orders wrong. Looks like high school kids running the show including bar.

Waited an hour and a half for sushi - and it took over 25 minutes just to get our drinks. Never received our appetizer either. Overall, this was a very negative experience and I will not be going back.

I have been here many a times. My friend and I come here every year for both of our birthdays, so twice a year and I know that they just changed ownership and extended their hours to start at 11:00 a.m.,, they used to open at noon. So we were very excited that they were opening early because it was my birthday and we wanted to come have some hibachi lunch. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. and there was no one there. We walked in and there was no one inside except for one employee sitting at a table and another table covered and used plates etc. We were sat at the table in between those two. That was so sticky. We couldn't even put her hands down on the table. The menus stuck to the table and made audible sounds when we tried to pick the menus up. Like I said we've eaten here for years and the food has been amazing so we stayed and ordered. But I did ask the very young gentlemen to clean our table off. He wiped it off and it was still very sticky. We ordered the food was actually really good, we ordered the hibachi lunch even though we were sitting at a table and not the hibachi area. The salad was very good and the soup we both agreed was probably better than what we've ever had before. We ordered the filet with chicken hibachi and the filet was cooked amazingly but the chicken was so dry and burnt. Obviously not cooked on a hibachi. After we were there for about 40 minutes, the young lady who works there decided it was time to start cleaning the floor. Mind you, the restaurant has already been open for 40 minutes and the cleaner that she was using to clean the floor was so unbelievably strong smelling that we literally had to leave. I would like to point out that not one other person had come into the restaurant since we had been there for 40 minutes and the smell was so strong that I made a comment to our waiter that we needed boxes immediately and had to leave and yet he didn't tell her to possibly stop cleaning the floor with that horrendous smelling cleaning solution... We boxed up our food and basically ran out of the restaurant. The food was good but as someone who has worked in the restaurant business before, please clean your restaurant the night before so that when people come in for lunch they are not smelling all that cleaning fluid because it is extremely unappetizing and basically ruined my birthday lunch that I wait all year for.

Tried this place for the first time and it was AMAZING!! We were skeptical at first since it was hibachi “to go” but we were very pleased when we got home. Steak and chicken were amazing!! Miso soup, salad and fried rice was cooked to perfection! Will definitely be coming back instead of our normal spot in Rowlett.

My daughters and I have patronized this place for over 2 years. Visiting at least 1x a week, until recently. The new staff are rude and dismissive. While a few of the chefs remain the same, I’m unable to overlook the poor service/experience each time we’ve returned ! Do yourself a favor and find a new hibachi place
