I have my coffee sent to my home via a subscription service but when I'm out I buy my bags of coffee here. Nice employees and a nice selection of muffins, pastries, etc. They also have specialty coffees

Sweetwaters makes incredibly good coffee and tea beverages, just like Starbucks. However, what makes Sweetwaters better is for one, they are usually not as busy as your typical Starbucks, but the main reason I prefer them is the food. You can actually get extra bacon on your bacon egg and cheese croissant. Don't like croissants? Get your sandwich with a plain, or everything, bagel or biscuit or pretzel bun. You get to choose how you want it. I recommend adding extra bacon to it as well. They have very good bacon here, and they know how to crisp it up without over doing it.

Check this place out. I don't think you will regret the decision.

Sweetwaters Coffee in Murphy is in full holiday mode!

We stopped by Sweetwaters in Murphy today and tried their holiday drinks.
We ordered their hot Peppy Bark Mocha, Candy Cane Cocoa and Let it Snow Latte and they were all so good, our family really enjoyed them. Glad that we were able to find a coffee place that is open even on Thanksgiving afternoon as we were able to enjoy some nice holiday drinks together with the family.

Their holiday drinks are fantastic, warm, flavorful, and perfect for the season and just the right amount of sweet, exactly what you want this time of year.

They also have a great selection of cool holiday gift items and merchandise. From beautifully packaged treats to unique coffee-themed gifts, it’s a perfect spot to pick up something special for friends and family.
We really loved their Lunar New Year glass collection sets, T-shirts and coffee mugs, they also have gift cards.
We bought their coffee mugs and gift cards. Good place to get some holiday gifts for the family.

The vibe is warm, new management and staff are very friendly and welcoming, had good conversations with them and it just feels like a nice cozy place to take a break during the busy holiday season. The whole experience felt welcoming, definitely recommend swinging by for a drink and a little holiday shopping!

If you are looking to enjoy some delicious seasonal drinks or grab thoughtful holiday gifts, Sweetwaters in Murphy is definitely worth a visit!

This place is great and now my preferred coffee shop. Comfortable place to enjoy good coffee & tea with good relaxing ambiance.
Their cozy interior, excellent coffee, and ambiance greatly appeal to me.

They provide outstanding customer service and excellent coffee. Staff is very friendly and polite.

Their Earl gray tea is very refreshing and Egg & cheese bagel is very tasty. Good items on their menu to choose from. I also liked their Mango matcha, would highly recommend their drinks.

We had an absolutely standout experience here full stop! Every single drink we sampled was next-level delicious. The mango refresher brought pure tropical joy, the peppermint hot chocolate was a cozy winter hug, the peppermint latte delivered major holiday energy, and the espresso? Chef’s kiss; bold, smooth, and downright elite.

Honestly… Starbucks might want to circle back and reassess their competitive strategy because this spot is coming in hot.

The snack portfolio? Total win. Both the savory and sweet items were ridiculously tasty, and my kids were fully aligned on loving not just the food but the warmth and hospitality of the entire team. Huge shout-out to the staff, they made the experience feel so welcoming and fun.

And the ambiance? On point. Cozy, intentional, and just downright vibe-y.

If you haven’t checked them out yet, consider this your official green light. Everything on the menu is a low-risk, high-reward decision. Go for it; you literally can’t go wrong!

We were able to go to the grand opening event and so have the ability to try a lot of their drinks. I don't venture too far but my wife has liked everything she has tried so far. I typically go for the mocha ice dragon which is what you'd expect, a chocolate coffee iced drink.
It's also a good place to go and get a little work done on your laptop. Plenty of outlets and comfortable chairs. The taller chairs might not be as good but that might just be me.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. They're attentive and seem to actually want to help people with their orders.
The only problem I've had so far was when they microwaved my brownie and put it in a paper bag. I think they've realized this isn't a good idea though so you should be fine.
The cost here also is reasonable. It's a little out of the way for me usually but I think I'll keep coming anyway because the atmosphere is relaxed, not too loud, and the drinks are good.
It has never been super busy inside but I can tell there is often a steady flow of drive through traffic.
The parking is easy as well. We've never had a problem parking since it shares a lot with other businesses.
The restrooms are super clean and comfortable. Again never had a problem there.
I've seen the owner a couple times in the place and he seems to really enjoy running the place.

Upshot?
A nice coffee place to get some reasonably prices good coffee and possibly hang out for a bit.
NOTE: there are also some games on a table if you want to play.

I’ve ordered from Sweetwaters many times before, and I recently noticed they offer halal turkey bacon for their sandwiches! This was such a game changer for me. Their food and coffee is always so fresh and delicious. Will definitely continue to order from them in the future.
