Great Patio. Hot dogs are huge. Service is friendly and efficient. No long waits for food or drinks. Went on a Sunday for the Cowboys game and the place was full and a lot of fun.

This place is a vibe! Great management, hard working employees, and everyone is kind and professional. Always a special that can’t be beat. Wednesday is 1/2 price wine and Darren is the absolute best person to wait on us each week. He knows our order, he checks on us frequently, and always has a smile! Love this place!

Recently relocated to Murphy from the Hwy 380 corridor in far North Little Elm and loving how close and convenient all the shopping and dining options are here. Nothing but national chains where we used to live so we've been enjoying trying all the privately owned restaurants in town. First time at Yard Dawgs and we really liked it. Street tacos were better than I've had at most Mexican restaurants. The steak was surprisingly tender and juicy and the flavor of all the toppings was amazing. The wife got a bratwurst but after tasting the tacos she was hooked for next time. Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious as well. Service and atmosphere was great. We're not drinkers or sports fans and honestly were just looking for something open late as the day slipped away from us and we found ourselves after 9 pm without having had dinner. Definitely higher quality than your typical bar food. Also appreciated they play good music at just the right volume to enjoy it but still hear each other at the table. Definitely adding Yard Dawgs to our rotation of favorite dining spots and looking forward to when the weather cools down so we can check out their patio dining.

First let me say I love anywhere that's dog friendly, so big kudos to them for that.
When you come in there's no host stand or any signs or anything, so we were kinda confused if it's just all free seating or not (it is, it's just not immediately clear). We sat outside, it was nice but kinda dirty, a few tables not cleaned off and one of the big TVs up front wasn't working. Good drink selection, but limited food options. No semi-healthy options for apps ( I know, I'm at a bar.... but it's still nice to have some option that isn't fried). I had a subpar bloody mary and we decided against any food due to limited options.
Cool atmosphere, I'd go back just for drinks and hopefully it will be slightly cleaner next time. I'll probably look elsewhere if I want food...
