Country cooking at its best! Friendliest service around. Fried chicken was light, crispy, juicy and smoking when you bit into it. You will have plenty to take home when you leave here. If you are heading to College Station from the south, stop here on your way. Will remind you of your mawmaw's cooking!

I came out from my birthday first time and these people are amazing! This is our new destination eating out restaurant. I don’t hesitate to recommend it if you’re in the area stop by and eat here.
The buffet for weekend breakfast is excellent. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, steak fingers and much more.

We’ve eaten here about six times. The first time we were fully charmed by the simplicity of it - I mean, you’re having a steak right there at the stockyards where the cowboys come have lunch and make deals. What’s not to like?
But the quality is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes you get a nice steak and potato, other times you get a slab of gristle and a not-quite-baked potato. So the last time we went there, was the last time. My medium rare steak came out near well done. They re-fired it for me and it was good after that, but the potato was still hard, and my wife’s steak was also overcooked.
When your whole thing is doing the basics, you have to do them right. It went from small-town charm to just another poorly managed restaurant. I’ve got plenty of those closer to home, so we won’t be making that trip anymore.
