Had a great time hanging out here with my daughter and son-in-law. They are regular supporters of this unique bar. The owner is friendly and does a great job getting to know each customer. We played a fun betting game using a roomba on a pool table that would knock the balls in. Whatever ball was left was the winner of the jackpot (buy-in was $10 a ball).
What a great whole in the wall!!My bestie and I decided to go on an adventure from houston. Ended up here last Tuesday night. And let me tell you it was such a treat!! Meet the sweetest owner Tracee with her lovely dog, who thought my friend was his date!!! Lol Haleigh the bartender was so chill!! And met a customer there with lime green toes. !! As a big fan of dive bars/small town vibes, the DL definitely ticks those boxes. I enjoy the decor, the layout, the game options and the relaxed demeanor of local folk. That said, the DL is (currently) the only bar in town so, their lack of competition has led to some observed shortcuts. After a dozen or so visits, here are my suggestions to Management:- If the staff can't adhere to advertised hours, you should consider changing the hours or replacing the employee(s).- Employees...
