One of the better restaurants in Navasota, even as they renovate downtown Navasota with new restaurants. Predictable and consistent, good food, and good value for the cost. It's one of our staples/go-to places to eat at when in town. They have good daily specials, too!
We stopped here on 7/6/25 and the food was taking much longer than expected. We had to get back on road so I asked for a refund. The girl at the front counter was very nice and helpful and even gave us a complimentary side while we waited. As I was getting refund, the food was done and they brought out. Food was very good and we got a free ice cream as well. We will be back again because of how nice and professional everyone was.
Average experience with hits and misses. We visited as a group of 7. The food line slow because only 2 people were working on it. The grilled ribeye was tasty and the baked potato roasted well. Chicken fried chicken was a large portion, fried well, and flavorful. The chicken fried steak just okay. The salad bar was boring and out of lettuce for many long minutes. The sides didn’t stand out. The women’s restroom needed cleaning. They charged 39 cents for a cup for water but...
