Stopped in for the very first time to check out this really cool Historic restaurant. The ambience was amazing and the service was very good. So many great items on the menu to choose from everything we tried was executed beautifully. Even Chef Chris came to our table to check on us and tell us a little bit about the history of the restaurant. All in all such an amazing experience can’t wait to come back and bring more friends.
Went here with my father for the first time last night. It was EXCELLENT!!!! We were greeted by Lance who was kind and had great advice regarding the menu and Amanda our server was super sweet and attentive! We planned to split the wedge salad and the chicken fried steak and they were nice enough to split/ plate our food just as a gourmet meal should be, EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC!! My mother in law and I enjoy Sunday brunch at the Red Board Tavern downtown Navasota, and it is consistently outstanding. Today I noticed that they had pulled together tables for a group of 12, so that's a wonderful option for large parties. If you like a perfectly runny Eggs Benedict, light Michael Buble/Frank Sinatra music, a Mimosa flight, and the sports TV discreetly available behind the bar for the fans in your group, it's perfect.
