The best catfish and slaw! Had the Saturday ribeye once but will never do that again! It was the worst steak I've ever had. I always try to do the Friday catfish when I'm in the area.
3 stars because of the BOOTS brand soft drinks and the waitress. The food was good. The chopped beef sandwich was better than C&J's, and the burger is good also. My wife had a chicken fried steak and she said it was awesome. I plan to go back for the ribeye, sliced brisket, and other menu items. The first time I was there, our waitress was pretty good. This is a old general store/bank that's been converted into a restaurant. The staff and service were nice and welcoming. I had the cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. It was delish. Hubby had the chicken fried steak and the baked potato. It wasn't well prepared or seasoned. I hear the catfish buffet on Fridays is the best. Overall, it was okay. The AC doesn't work properly, but they do have fans running.
