Me and my wife went to Denny’s today in New Boston TX. The food and service was excellent. When we got up to go pay I ask my waitress if I could see the cook. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name but when she came out she thought she was in trouble for something. I told her the food was excellent and gave her a tip it made her day. I was there around 5 pm. Go see the ladies at Denny’s it’s worth it.

It may seem odd but, i just had the BEST steak at this Dennys!!

The food is usually pretty good. However, they are frequently out of A LOT of items on their menu. Their steaks are horribly tough! The wait staff is great! The menu item shortage is really frustrating for customers and for the wait staff.

Traveling with my daughter and granddaughter, we stopped here in the evening for dinner, about 5:20 PM. I put in an order for a Cobb salad, my daughter ordered Bourbon Chicken, with a $4.00 side of Mac and cheese, as well as a meal for my granddaughter. The waitress returned a bit later and regretfully informed me they had no lettuce mix for salads. At 5:30 in the evening?? Poor management. I had to order a different meal. When the meals were brought, my daughter and I were shocked to see the tiny portion of Mac and cheese in the side dish she had ordered but would be stretching it to say it was 1/2 cup. The next time the waitress checked on us my daughter returned it and asked for it to be removed from her bill. I also had Mac and cheese as the “bed” of my brisket meal and it was terribly skimpy.

Ms Dennys is probably one of the worst places I ever seen there were only three tables and it took forever for a waitress to come take my order not only that my foot to 15 minutes to get to my table that's why us truckers hardly stop at Denny's anymore

Jeers to Dennys. Last night we placed an online order of $40 at 12:19 am with the pickup time being 12:39 am. Went in around 12:45 am and was told it would be another 20-30 minute wait. Went back in around 1:10 am and the waitress, Kel, ignored me until a group of customers made their way to the checkout. After waiting on her to finish with everyone else, she told me they were still working on my order, but it turned out they were waiting on her to bag it. After waiting 10 mins, she gave me my order and half of it was missing. On top of that, the food we did get was already cold. Went back in to ask for the missing food and she got a very bad attitude. She started slamming things and being very snippy with us. She threw down a used receipt paper and a pen and told us to write down what we were missing. We waited another 10-20 on the missing food. Once it was finished she bagged it, dropped it in front of us, and walked off without saying anything. We checked the food again and found that it was still missing items. At this point we just left because we had already waited 1.5 hours on food that was originally supposed to take 20-30 minutes. For the time it was, they were not really busy. Only a few tables were occupied and there were two people in the kitchen, which is more than normal. We’re very upset because we were patient and respectful the entire time. This is literally the worst service I’ve had at Dennys and that’s saying a lot. I now remember why I quit going there.

Hashbrowns were undercooked and old potato's. The philly omelette was hot in the middle and cold on the outside. The brisket Mac and cheese- onion rings were cold, Mac was overcooked to the point of breaking, brisket was good. Our server was excellent. She really was.

Just another restaurant plagued by poor management. If corporate or even the general manager reads this I want you to know that your restaurant is a reflection of you and your brand and you have the absolute worst image I have ever seen. Let me preface this by saying I’ve been in restaurant management for many years and I’ve seen it all. Managers/General Manager, you must not care about your staff one bit. You schedule TWO servers on a busy night and you expect them to run the entire dining room, handle Togo orders, handle the host station, bus tables and handle the register? You should see your year over year sales and see the volume of each hour. Pretty standard practice or maybe you just don’t care about your job enough and just want to collect your salary and sit in the office all day and let your staff drown. I saw your staff ask the MANAGER for help MULTIPLE times and you just ignored them and walked off. There was no manager presence on the floor. All the tables were dirty, there was food to run, there was help NEEDED and you turn your back on your team? I literally witnessed guests have to bus their own tables, seat themselves and offer help because you simply chose to not care. I hope this management team is fired and they find managers who care about their staff and create a better environment for their team. Here’s a lesson im sure you don’t know, the basis for any successful high volume restaurant is a solid schedule to reflect sales, guest focused managers and precise food prep/ordering. The first two you fail miserably and I’m sure it won’t change for one review but I truly hope you read this and it sticks in your brain for a long time.
