The owners daughter is very rude. When placing the order she is stern and has an attitude. Location is not safe , prices are high. The BBQ seems store bought not and they don’t serve food at temperature.

My wife and I are from New York and we’re in town visiting family when the suggested C&V BBQ for lunch. Boy, was it a great suggestion. Hands down the best BBQ we’ve ever had. Ribs were falling off the bone, brisket melted in your mouth and the sweet tea was off the charts. When we mentioned were from New York visiting they let us sample just about everything including their homemade bbq sauce, both original and spicy which were phenomenal. Not to mention the sides of potato salad and baked beans and dessert, banana bread pudding. If you’re from the area this place is a must try and somebody needs to get Guy Fieri down there to try this place also. We’ll be back before the end of our trip. What a great experience and great people.

Had a wonderful experience with Mr. Vernon Gurdy. 1st Timer received a small slice a Brisket and Sausage sampler. Tasted Like East Texas BBQ - No Sauce Needed!! Sandwichs are? Available try the BEAST (combination of Sliced Brisket & Homemade Sausage) on a warm bun with jalapenos & red onions. Damn Good Sammich. Side of Banana Pudding too separately.
