I should start by saying I’ve only been to the Food Zone location once, but I had the chicken sliders (Houston Heat spice) with fries for about $19. I was skeptical of the price at first, but the service was excellent—fast and friendly—and the kitchen looked clean and well-kept.
The food was absolutely delicious. Both the chicken and the fries were perfectly crispy, with a generous kick of spice. The buns were fresh, buttery, and topped with an amazing sauce that tied everything together.
My only complaint is the inconsistent hours. The times listed on the truck and online don’t seem to match when they’re actually open. Ever since that first visit, I’ve been craving it and have gone back several times, only to find them closed. Still, the food is so good, I’d stop by 100 more times just to try my luck again.

Food is absolutely delicious and always hits the spot. Price is pretty steep though and the portion sizes seem to get smaller and smaller, but the food you get is consistently delicious.
The biggest problem is that the place is never open, 4 times I’ve gone there in the past 2 months during their “Open” hours and only once has the place actually been open. The rest of the time it will say they are open online but when you arrive they’re closed. I’ve never encountered a restaurant/food truck as rarely open as this. If you’re going to close then at least update your hours on Google.

I’ve come to this location 3 times in the last month.. and all 3 times there is either nobody working inside and the lights are off, or the door is completely closed when online it says they are open…. Their phone lines are also never working so you can’t even call and see if they are open!

To be straight forward, the only thing that is good is the flavor of the food. Other than that they are awful. The only time it is always correct and great service is the owner. The past two times I’ve had ChickenHeadz my order was wrong and the owner was not there. The third strike they were out of sauce….. I’m just tired of my order being incorrect.

Awful: service, accommodation, missing itemsGreat: food flavor and taste.Super rude staff, was told to "hurry up" when placing my order, wasn't "allowed" to order just Mac and cheese for my 1 year old. Wasn't given drinks for my food. Cashier did not offer a single pleasantry throughout the entire experience.Food flavor is amazing tho. They know what they have and they that's what they offer. No more no less. Expect the only good part of the experience to be the food.

I was super excited to try today, I got the Mac chicken bowl but the fries definitely were not cooked all the way. They had a frozen/uncooked taste to them. The Mac, chicken and sauce were really good though. Bummed about the fries because this was an $18 plate.
