Place is awesome. Older spot. Been there like 60 years. Super clean, smoking allowed but no smells. Cleanest bathrooms I've seen in a long time. Lol. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Will absolutely be back. Cash only so be ready. Ice house style with byob options.
Good place, mostly laid back, the only dislike is that they don't play any music for background noise unless someone pays for it however I may be a bit biased as the last time I went to bars before coming here was probably 15 years ago and maybe it's just done different these days but the bartenders have all been really nice people and for the most part so has everyone else at this location.
Carol was super nice and friendly. This is a beer/seltzer only bar. Smoking allowed.
Definition of a cool dive bar in the area. Stayed for a few drinks until a few of the patrons seemed to not be our speed, which is fine.
Definitely an affordable neighborhood spot. We were told it was owned by local family so always cool for support local spots.
There was pool available however we did not play.
