I visited with my brother. The young lady that took our order was very pleasant and helpful when we trying to figure out what we wanted. However the couple that ordered after us were given WAY more details and options available. As in lean or fatty brisket when we both ordered the brisket meal. The lady also only asked them if they were first responders, prior military etc. She did not ask us that question at all. My brother and I are both 100% disabled combat vets with multiple deployments between us. Please treat all of your customers with the same respect and courtesy when offering discounts because I would have liked to save some of the fifty plus dollars I spent with you all today. Plus the tip. We will not be returning because of this.

After hearing many people recommend this place, I finally visited today. Had the brisket and “dirty”mac n cheese - it was delicious! Definitely will come back next time I am in the area.

This place is small, but the food was huge and amazing, I ordered the sampler and just WOW, there was not a single thing here I didn't love!!
Second vist here, I really think Google needs to make a 10 star option for this place. The food is amazing. The owner and staff are great, and the jalapeno lemonade is fantastic!!
I am about a dozen visits in, at this point. The food is still hands down the best food in texas.

So disappointed, have been there multiple times & today the service at the bar was so bad we went to the rodeo lounge in GC...no one could even acknowledge us at the bar, let alone take our order, not going back for a long time.
