Great place but I was there a little passed 2pm & had no ribs or sausage. Brisket I had gotten along with chopped brisket sandwiches were fantastic. Great staff as well.

Best bbq outside of Texas Hill Country and Allen may well beat them out as well! Gigantic melt in your mouth beef ribs! Fabulous Dirty Mac and Cheese! Great folks too! It just feels like Texas... cause it is the epitome of southern hospitality!

Absolutely the best bbq in town and I’ve tried them all. It may cost a little bit more than the other guy but I promise it’s worth every penny. The quality of the meat and expertise of the pit master are the secret ingredients. Well done sir I will definitely be back.
Awesome BBQ! We will definitely eat here again as it is close to the house. Sadly it will be a while because of the fire; hope they rebuild fast!

Allan and the fine folks at The Rusty Buckle are THE BEST, serving the best BBQ in all of Houston. Better than what so many in Houston consider to be “the best”. From the moment you walk in the front door, everything from the service to the food is TOP NOTCH. I’ve been to all the other bbq spots in Houston, and The Rusty Buckle outperforms them by leaps and bounds!!!
An incredible brisket. It's worth coming for that alone.The ribs were ok. The preparation was great, but the rub could have been different.But the brisket alone would be worth the detour. It really is first class!I would definitely come back again even at a considerable expense. As a BBQ lover, I can say it is by far the best brisket I have eaten...Vegetarian options: Anyone who comes here to eat vegetarian dishes ... has not understood BBQ!Parking: Some there, but can also be scarce
