I ordered on Uber eats. Wasn't notified they were out of baked potatoes and the chicken sandwiches. The baked potatoes and chicken sandwiches were replaced with chopped beef sandwiches and macaroni and cheese. No fries and missing the two drinks that came with the chicken sandwich meals. They said they would swap out what was missing for the same price. Well, those fat filled sandwiches, runny and flavorless macaroni and cheese minus a drink were no where near $15 as the filled potatoes price. The meal sucked. I will not order again.

In a gas station gas station looks like it's straight out of a horror movie and I'm pretty sure they had a card skimmer on it plus they didn't have any of the sides not even fries

The Dickey's BBQ is part of a gas station and they hardly have any food and the food they do have is more like stripes tacos no barbecue inside multiple times I've been.

BBQ in a gas station.. with 2.8 stars. I still went, because it was 830 on a Wednesday night and the new Sonic is played out. The store is clean, looks great, greeted when I walk in. Get recommendations and the brisket was great, sausage was pretty good, but the mac was mid at best.. Zoey up front was awesome, did a great job of selling the place and putting the low rating to the test. The only thing better than her nails was her attitude. I'll go back.

If you want to try a good sandwich or another option, visit Dickeys Barbecue in New Waverly. They have good service, they are very efficient in their work and excellent service, not to mention the quality of the food. You will not regret your choice.

Overall good experience. The family ordered pulled pork and sausage, both were cooked well and tasty. BBQ beans were good. Mac and cheese could use some work. Both staff members were friendly and professional. The work area in the back (especially the floors) looked clean. Convenient store has plenty of seating for a group to sit and pick up your favorite drinks and chips to add to the meal.Honestly, kind of surprised by the other reviews when I got here. Will consider it again when traveling along I-45.

Ordered 3 meat plate, didn't have turkey so I went with double brisket and then sausage. Got the food and the brisket was almost pale with 0 hint of a smoke ring, stiff as a board . Sausage was good not great but hard to mess sausage up.

Terrible!! Don't waste your time and money going there. I stood there, waiting on someone to take my order for a couple of minutes. A young girl finally walked up and stood by the register. She just stood there, looking straight ahead. She would not even look at me or acknowledge me. I stood there and waited for her to ask me if I wanted to order something, but nope....not happening. I just turned and walked away and bought a snack in the convince store. Before I could check out, she was walking out the front door. If you are hungry in New Waverly, there are much better options than dealing with this lack of customer service.
