My first time there. I ordered the 5 piece catfish basket, substituted onion rings (homemade) instead of fries. Was extremely good, and I have ate lots of catfish in and around east Texas. Murski's cafe has some of the best I have ever had. Seasoned just right. No iodine or fishy smell or taste. No bones. Crispy, done all the way through, but remained tender. The atmosphere got 4 stars as it was crowded, not much room to maneuver around tables, or scoot your chair back. Loud, because the place was packed. That being said, the service was great, and I will be going back!

We had the lunch special hamburger steak with mushrooms and onions, mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Delicious and great value. Completed the meal with strawberry cake. Perfection. I highly recommend this place. Very nice people.

Prices changed after food was consumed even after asking. I made them give it to me at quoted price. The item was not on the menu. The waitress went and asked in the back and the price changed after the fact.

Found this little gem on a roadtrip and it was well worth driving a few extra miles! The Hootieburger did not disappoint!! Great friendly service!
W had group of 40 and they took very good care of us. The chicken fried chicken was delish!! The fried okra was a little overcooked, but not bad.
