Hole in the wall spot with very good HOT food! White, flakey strips’ (not filets) cook perfect, had to allow to cool enough to eat. Homemade fries, cut fresh, on premises & great coleslaw. Hubby had the most tender steak fingers we’ve ever eaten & homemade mashed potatoes were outstanding! I would not recommend the tea (either spigot/instant or maybe the local water taste, not a fan) Certainly out of the way spot but prices were excellent along with down home service!

We just happened upon this place while out on a drive. Glad we did. It's not elegant dining, but isn't meant to be.The staff was wonderful and the food was great and there was a lot of it, especially for the price. Very reasonable. The Misses ordered the full nachos and we ended up taking almost half of it home.Next trip to Nocona we'll be back.

After a night of tent camping we stopped by Bears Den Diner for a bite. Breakfast had ended already, but we had zero disappointment as the food was delicious! My son had a full plate of nachos and I chose the chicken fried pork with fried Okra and green beans. The good was seasoned very well and we both cleaned our plates. Looking forward to eating there again during our next camping trip.
It's a small town country Diner with great service. We eat lunch here every Sunday after church. Price's are very reasonable and the portions are big, you almost always need a togo box.

So the place must have been really quaint and inviting when it opened in 2015. It could still be if the staff used some cleaner and a lot of elbow grease on a regular basis. The server was very kind and friendly and, the food was very inexpensive and good. I chose to use the mens room and I believe that it hasn’t been cleaned since the restaurants opening.
