Leaving the American century golf tournament in Lake Tahoe and wanted to give a Big shout out to Shomari Kendrick who was our bar tender at hole 17! Sho made delicious drinks and was so personable. Appreciate her professionalism and knowledge of the bar! Highly recommend Shomari!

Working the chevron championship golf event for nbc got to lunch to find out they ran out of half the food they had they even ran out of lettuce for salad what catering runs out of food especially for such a big event its your job to have enough food i dont understand its a big crew with bog eaters if you are hosting a event with over 75 people would not recommend this catering we work hard long hours and to not have enough is unacceptable and poor planning

Almost every single negative review is placed by a temp worker who was hired by staffing agency, (LGC, Event Aces, People Ready, etc) and it seems their displeasure and issues are due to the lack of communication, organization and clarity from the folks who they actually work for. Spectrum is a wonderful organization to work for, family oriented, and a warming and loving community of colleagues.

This is by far a terrible company to side work for. Or work for directly. in 2022 I worked an ACL event with LGC staffing and this company was the client / host (head boss) LGC had us choose which position we’d like to work in. I picked Catering. This was my first time working under LGC for spectrum catering and ACl music festival in 2022 this year for me went great I didn’t seem to have any issues at all. I was able to enjoy the festival after my shift & was given gold star feel event staff treatment. So when I worked ALC again in 2023 I was horrified to see LGC under new management (again) allowed Spectrum staffing company out of Huston TX to belittle & even send most workers home after we came to work. Not only that I was actually lied on by the head lady over Spectrum Catering who told my boss LGC I had refused to work (because I don’t go back to wash dishes) umm that wasn’t what I signed on to do. So ya no I didn’t refuse I just stated I’m sorry that wasn’t the position I agreed on. But helped clean up and did everything else (around my actual job placement) for 8 hours nonstop on my feet on uneven painful flooring. In extreme heated areas of the catering pop up tent. When I informed LGC management of all that actually happened seemed one was nice the other side the wanted there clients happier even if they were mistreating us temporarily workers. How horrible so I told LgC I wouldn’t work again with this company. But they still unendingly keep these ppl as clients. Shame smh.. this is a terrible company ran if you don’t do what the head boss lady says you will retreat it. How can LGC keep this company as a client is beyond comprehension… No one deserves to have to work in such conditions and this company shouldn’t be allowed to work in such shamefully awful mannerisms towards anyone. SMH they want to get paid so bad and they ask for help from other companies LgC A+ staffing, etc. but the crazy thing is there’s no real respect. If you don’t see the boss lady as mother and obey her your nothing but a forgotten waist of casualty and in her way. What’s crazy is now ACL is coming up and tell me why I was on the mass email invite to request time in to work and guess who the head staffing is (yep Spectrum catering) this company. lol seriously when I responded I’m definitely not interested. I was then told by LGC manger the email to me was by mistake. So I responded back to not contact me again. The very next couple of days go by, and tell me why I got another email saying the same requesting information to work ACl with spectrum catering. I obviously responded back to LGC for work at ALC event just simply stating “SERIOUSLY” so please be on the watch if you hire this company for your catering needs. They miss treat employees and temp agencies staff employees horribly. again this is a very - very bad company to work for. You will go in requesting to do one thing (me it was catering) and the this client will attempt to make you do half if not all of every other job and if you say no or turn them down you will be blackmailed and claimed for not working. Or being a temp player. Wow!! but sadly LGC will not pay you for extra duty work. SMH so if you don’t want to get turned away you might have to face working multiple positions and not seeing any extra income.. SO, now you’ve been warned. look out if you plan on working ACL staffing with Spectrum catering the manager lady is all smiles until she cutes your legs out from under you. O’ by the way she also literally told me to my face 2023 when I worked ACl with LGC catering why I was being sent home before my shift was up (which happened 4 times that whole week I was scheduled working) I wasn’t needed, or when she told me to my face “well you know, I have to send you guys home so my staff can work & make money too” then she smiled and laughed like the mention my money was getting cute because she didn’t want to pay LGC to keep me the full shift. Wooow - like really.

Super tricky, dishonest people to work for. The money is decent but there is no job security and no honesty with employees.

I do a lot of brand ambassador work here in Houston and I got to be part of the Houston Open event .. worked in the VIP Courtyard section, truly a great experience working for this company; catered by spectrum!! Great food .. YumHere’s a pic of the patio during the Golf Tournament event
