We had a wonderful dinner at Barrel & Derrick and tried a few of their September monthly features. The farmhouse cheddar rolls looked amazing and were served with a stunning honeycomb-patterned butter that was as beautiful as it was delicious. The butter had just the right touch of sweetness, but the rolls themselves were a bit gooey in the middle, which made them feel underdone compared to the crisp cheesy top. The food was absolutely fantastic, a 5/5. However, the service was disappointing. I was there to celebrate my birthday with a friend, and our server seemed completely uninterested, giving us the impression she would rather be anywhere else. The restaurant's main dining room was nearly empty, so it's not like she was overwhelmed by a lot of tables. Hands down the best Resteraunt in the Permian basin. We had the shrimp pasta the flavor was delicious and so was the texture of the food. I highly recommend. 10/10 . Great atmosphere and environment as well.
