Location is great if you have to get any tests or imaging done at MCH Dr. Wheatley Stewart Medical Pavillion. Walked in and the staff was really friendly and welcoming. Service was fantastic and the food was probably some of the best Mexican food we've had in a restaurant in a long time. Definitely recommend Casa Ortiz in Odessa if you want a small local hole-in-the-wall place to eat.

The staff there was very nice and helpful I can't say a bad word about the service, it's just I've ate alot of places all over and the food here was not good. There was no cilantro in the salsa the chips were stale no salt no flavor the salsa was just hot no flavor. The chicken tasted gamey and I honestly threw it up in the bathroom. The only thing that was ok was the hard shell beef taco but if I'm gonna spend my money to eat out I expect it to be better then what I make at home and this was a complete waste of money..and the place it wedged in a corner by the hospital hard to get to parking is scarce, and the bathroom stunk of poo so bad their febreeze doesn't help. Maybe it was a bad day idk but I wouldn't recommend this place.

Casa Ortiz catered my sisterâs wedding. They went above and beyond to meet the bride and grooms every need as well as all the guestâs in attendance. They were on time, professional, kind, and respectful. The food was amazing! It was not Tex-Mex food, it was authentic and delicious! I went back for a second plate! My kids are picky eaters and they catered to their needs without hesitation. If you love delicious authentic Mexican food, hire Casa Ortiz.
