I used to love chicken express and would often go. But this time it has been a complete disappointment. The chicken was very hard as it had been refried to the point that it couldn’t even be eaten. The bread has a really strange taste to it. The fried pickle side was also refried probably gave me old food and just refried it. I spent $18 on a plate that ended in the trash as it was not eatable. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Don’t waste your money it’s better to go somewhere else.

It’s been a while since I’ve eaten at Chicken Express in Odessa. I went to the store on 42nd st a couple days ago. The young man who took my order was very friendly. When I got the chicken strips, they looked like they were cooked last week, they tasted even worse as did the potatoes and biscuit .. the meal ended up being thrown in the trash. I would not recommend this place and I won’t be back it’s hard to believe that they are serving food that is that gross

It's Valentines Day, 2025, for many. But for me, it's my Moms birthday. I DD'd my order to her as a gift (she loves her some fried chicken) and I didn't expect the store to also extend the gift. They gave her extra and it was ALL amazing. Especially the note. Thank you guys for helping make her day. (Hushpuppies were absolutely amazing btw, they were cold by the time I made it over, but a few seconds nuked 🤌🤌🤌)

Horrible portions, got a 9 piece Gizzard meal and it was literally 9 pieces the size of nickles. $10 for nothing. Bushes and GC fill half the box up. Will never go back, parking lots always empty now I know why.😡😡😡
over 30 minutes in drive-thru with only one other car waiting for order and to get food and drive off - they got my order wrong like why and how!!

the food was great super fast service from the am crew lady manager was very friendly and all the people were working hard and cleaning everything food was hot and fresh definitely recommend going and get the corn nuggets.

If I could give this place a zero star I would. Went there today (drive thru) at 6:50 pm and order a 12 pc family meal, I was told they where out of chicken that it would take 15 min to this I didn’t want to wait so I left went home. Around 8:12 pm the same day I went back because I was really craving that chicken I tried the drive thru again order the same thing I can hear the guy asking the cooks if they had chicken ready which I’m sure they said no because the guy gave me the same answer as before, that it would take 15 min which I said “is ok I’ll wait”. Than the guy paused for a minute and replied you know what is going to be 20 min for the chicken at this moment I knew they just didn’t want to sale me chicken which is ironic. I would like to know who is running this place is like going to McDonald’s and ordering a Big Mac and for them to tell me they are out of them.
