I'm really sorry to say that this was my second time here and I won't be back.
My first time, Lucy took great care of me and I had a nice night having a couple of drinks and chatting with some locals. So, I gave it another shot tonight.
Unfortunately, when I got there at 12:30 AM, the bar had closed. There were two women behind the bar and I will say they seemed a little unnerved, but I didn't think anything of it at the time. This bar is supposed to be open until 2 AM, so it was strange to hear that it had closed at 12:30 AM. However, I figured, no big deal, I'll just go wait outside for my Uber.
While I was outside, a group of ruffians approached me and started interrogating me as to my sexuality. They came to the conclusion that I was gay and they started shouting slurs and vulgarities at me. By the way, not that it matters, but, I'm not even gay.
My Uber arrived and this group of men tried to infiltrate the car. I managed to get the door shut and locked in time and I told the Uber driver to step on it. They were pulling on the doors and banging on the glass to the point that one of the windows sounded like it might pop out. I barely escaped without getting hurt.
I called 911 to report the incident and the Deputy told me basically that he was not surprised by the report. Apparently, this is a known "biker bar" and they don't take kindly to people they don't know.
So, I'm sorry to say, Corky's, I absolutely, positively, definitely, 110% won't be back. And, if you're an out-of-towner looking for a night cap, my recommendation is to steer clear, especially if you are actually LGBTQIA+ since I barely got away from the place AND I'M HETEROSEXUAL.

The food socks. Aeems like no one in West Texas knows what a real cheese burger is. That's a shame being Texas is know for beef. If I wanted a soy bean burger I can get that anywhere. I thought Texas was proud of there beef they suck.
First visit but not the last! Catfish on Fridays is great. Half order for $10.99 is good unless you really hungry. Full order about $15Good choice!

Every time we go, it's always fun. The service is beautiful. It gets a little loud after 8.30 if there isn't a band in the back, but it's not terrible. The food has always been good. The fries are hand cut but not greasy. 10/10 would go
