My Mom had this outing planned for a week for my arrival back in town from work. Everything was outstanding as I got in to make sure our reservations were set. I was not gone for more than an hour and our reserved paid tables were given away. It was a bummer. We had 2 tables and were downgraded to 1 table. It was still early in the night to give away our tables. Disappointing.

Had been a year or more since we had been here and wanted to go dancing. The remodeling looks great and the place was clean and fresh. Service was quick and accurate. Waited patiently for the DJ and was disappointed that the atmosphere of The Escape had changed since our last visit. Music is now Tejano ( waitress stated that's what they play now almost all the time) and not what we were expecting or hoped for. (Was country dancing last times we were there). No big deal- paid out and just left. Nice place, just not our vibe.

staying at the hotel and went to get cigarettes from the machine and it did not take 20s so i asked the lady outside the door if she had change, she did not and told me to go around to the main entrance so I did. the lady did not and so I asked if the bar might have change and she said I could not go in, clearly standing there with an ice bucket I was not going in to party. Finally got change and the machine took my money, told the lady inside the door that it had. She said we don't own it and to talk with the hotel I asked if she could get the information for me. She did not help me in any way and I left with no information and no money.

I have given this place a few chances to not cheat us on drinks. We'll, they did it again!!! My fault for going back...they again told us that our drinks had liquor. Well, tonight, I was drinking water, so when the group said their drinks tasted like they had no liquor I tasted them and GUESS WHAT...NO LIQUOR!!!! I will never go back.
