I have many fond memories of Long John Silver’s from my childhood, and recently, I decided to revisit the brand after many years, rekindling my appreciation for their classic fish patties. My usual order is straightforward—six fish patties, and occasionally, a side of cheese bites.
Unfortunately, this particular visit did not live up to expectations. The restaurant was noticeably unclean and filled with smoke, creating an unpleasant dining atmosphere. Upon placing my order, there was some confusion at the register, and it became clear from the price that my order had not been entered correctly. After some discussion between the cashier and a coworker, they were eventually able to adjust the charge appropriately.
As for the food, the fish patties were heavily breaded, which resulted in an overly greasy texture that detracted from the flavor. The cheese bites, while expectedly greasy, were enjoyable and consistent with what I remember.
Overall, the meal was below the standard I had hoped for, both in terms of quality and experience. While I still enjoy Long John Silver’s as a brand and will continue to dine at other locations, I do not anticipate returning to this specific restaurant.

Do not place an order unless you want almost no chicken and more coleslaw. I have NEVER received a chicken basket with such disappointing sizes. On top of that, my order was incorrect. Definitely not worth $21 for 2 meals with no drink. Not even Church's would do me this dirty. Save your $$$
