Okay, so we drove all the way from Andrews to Odessa just to try out a new place. Maria's, let me tell you, it was worth the trip! Our server, like knew exactly what we wanted before we did! And those drinks đ€©đŁđ„are a priority for the next trip we're already planning. Hats off to the chef! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, Alexandro! You're a testament to great service!

I had a reservation⊠which apparently meant âplease come wait 25 minutes.â After finally being acknowledged, we were triumphantly escorted to our table, only to be sent right back to the waiting area because our table was still dirty. A thrilling emotional rollercoaster.
But then the food arrived and suddenly all was forgiven.
The almond salsa with the chicken flautas was absolutely incredible, seriously delicious. The beans and rice were also really good and rounded everything out nicely. The food completely redeemed the experience. Drinks weren't bad, definitely get your money's worth.
So while the seating process felt like a small endurance test, the kitchen clearly knows what itâs doing. Come for the food⊠and maybe pack a little patience for the front of house.

Such a pleasant surprise!!!
A clean, vibrant restaurant with an attentive and knowledgeable staff!
Enchiladas tres colores was a perfect recommendation and I can't stop thinking about it! I can't remember how many leches in the beautiful cake, but I will be back to have it again.
From the minute I stepped in the door to when I walked out, full and happy, this is such a rare gem. I can tell management cares because everything was spotless and everyone was all smiles.
Thank you.

We ate there for the first time today. Our waiter, Noah, did an amazing job. He was attentive and took very good care of us. The atmosphere was great, screening offering some privacy, cloth napkins, a very pretty restaurant. The food was off the chart amazing! Not the typical Mexican food that you find in West Texas. So good! We will definitely be back and take our friends too! Very memorable dining experience.

We hadn't gone there in the past due to some silly reviews. We finally tried it today, OMG. Where do I start ? The waiter Noah was amazing, on the mark. Thank you Noah. We got the combo fajitas, WOW! They were great, the cheese dip, very good. Why anyone would give anything but a 5 star, I can't understand. Don't be like us, ignore the negative reviews and try it for yourself.
My new go to restaurant. đ

Food was good. The vibe my husband and I got was weird, not very welcoming. Maybe because we came later in the afternoon on a Sunday with our toddler⊠It wasnât that the service was horrible or even bad, it was just a weird vibe from the staff. Which is a strange feeling to have when youâre paying for a meal. Probably wonât go back again, just not our cup of tea. I wouldnât discourage anyone from going. Just wasnât for us.

Mariaâs Mexican Restaurant is a great spot for authentic, flavorful Mexican food. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, Alexandro truly makes the experience stand out. He has this confident, magnetic energy that makes you feel special right away. Heâs attentive and genuinely cares about giving amazing service. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. He really elevates the whole vibe. Corina, the general manager, is just as impressive. She runs everything smoothly while staying warm and welcoming, which says a lot about the leadership there. Overall, incredible food and even better service especially from Alexandro.

I am always very skeptical about trying new places, especially Mexican restaurants. I am very pleased with everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere feels very pleasant. The area we sat in was very quite and comfortable. We had a table of 6 in a both like area and the space was very spacious. Our waitress was very pleasant and new everything on the menu. Tonight we started with the chips and salsa, guacamole, and quiso compuesto. Everything tasted amazing, the chips were freshly made and the fresh blue corn tortillas were homemade. For dinner we had the Mahi Fish Tacos and the Tres Enchiladas with Rice and beans (rice and beans are âfamily sharableâ sides on one dish). My favorite was the chicken sour cream enchilada. For dessert we tried the flan and the churros. Flan was a sweet perfection and the crispy sugary churros paired nicely with the chocolate and creamed leche. I will absolutely be back to try other items on the menu. I am pleasantly impressed.
