I ate at ROK twice a week in 2025, it was wonderful. Full of life and great food. It has gone down so hard!!! The bartender had zero personality and probably didn’t want to be there, “I don’t make the food” was her response to my statement about the food quality going down hill. The “manager” ( an assumption since he was in a blazer and button down shirt) brought my aioli from the walk-in with a spoon hanging out of his mouth. The food was cold both with temperature and execution. We left $$ for our drinks and left. I am quite sure the bartender pocketed the cash and told the “manager” we walked out. Who cares we will never darken their collective doors again, Cork & Pig or ROK.

Red Oak is situated in a nice plaza in Odessa so parking is easy (free). The location isn’t huge but it’s a decent size. When we arrived we were offered a table by the front door, but we declined. They have a nice area upstairs, which was much better. Of note, the stairs are pretty high. I wouldn’t recommend drinking a lot if you sit upstairs. I could see someone falling down those if they were intoxicated. Service wise, our waiter was friendly and checked on us numerous times. The food was good and didn’t take a long time to arrive. That said, the mac n cheese didn’t really impress me and the meatball appetizer, while very tasty, seemed overpriced for only three meatballs. My focus was the burger though and that was very good.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast before catching a flight and was very impressed. Food was great, although my steak was overcooked, I cleaned my plate. The place looks small when you first walk in, but their patio is super cute and has heaters! Looking forward to trying them out for dinner next time I'm in town.

Made a reservation ahead of time, was told we would be in the “heated” patio. Our heater wasn’t working, asked to be moved if possible. Table behind us got a discount for the heater not working we just asked to be moved didn’t even get a sorry or heads up that the heater wasn’t working. Two of our plates arrived cold. We were sitting next to a window, so it was extra cold. Spent over $300, drinks were empty for over 20 minutes because server was inattentive. It was our first time going there for my dad’s birthday and just had an overall bad experience. Would not recommend going.

We have been going to red oak since the day they opened, atleast once a week. If you are the owner reading this please get new management as soon as possible. In all the years we have been going we have never experienced such bad service as we have in the recent weeks. Steaks have been brought to us burnt, and the most recent visit my husbands French dip sandwich meat was brought to us RAW, blood soaked into the bread! The manager came out said sorry and went back into his office. No talk with the kitchen, nothing. Our bill is always over 300 and we always leave a 25% tip just for this to keep happening it’s not fair. If this continues you will slowly start losing all your loyal customers. We will never step foot inside this place ever again.

Went for breakfast. Sat outside. They have heaters to help keep you warm. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Portions are fair. À la carte items can be pricey. A small bowl of fruit was $6. I will say, it was fresh. My banana wasn't sitting in a pool of fruit salad. It was fresh cut. They do not have a kids menu but again you can order à la carte. Luckily my child was hungry and had the chicken and waffle. It was very good. The breading wasn't thick. I had the omelette. Egg nice and fluffy. My
Husband had the traditional breakfast so to speak. Ordered over medium eggs, they were made more over easy but he said still good. It's more a lunch and dinner place. Breakfast menu is limited but good.

I would give this place a zero if I could but one star shall do. Lady told us there would be a 15 minute wait. There was an available table right in front of us and she said the table had no waitor/waitress. I said cool we can wait. Lady took our phone number and never called us. We waited for a good 30 minutes before we chose another place. We didnt even get to try the food so I cant really rate the food. Dont think I'll try to go there again due to the host.

Deviled eggs are delicious. Ordered short rib and a steak. Short rib with baked cauliflower was delicious. The steak was suppose to be cooked medium and came out well done and tough to cut and chew. My work boots had more seasoning. Waitress was great as well
