I witnessed one of the Sonic supervisors berating an employee for saying that she should not be preparing people's food in her condition, a sentiment that I happen to agree with, she was visibly ill with mucus running down her face, red splotches all over her complexion and an audible cough. It was particularly disturbing as I was witnessing a grown man demean a teenage girl who had no means of escaping the situation. I have since come to learn that this supervisor goes by the alias of "Danny" although his legal name is Daniel and is the franchise owner of the Sonic located on 52nd Street in Odessa. I would advice that no one applies to work at that sonic location so long as "Daniel" is in charge of it.
Edit: And honestly do not purchase food their either, the franchise owner believes it appropriate to have kitchen staff continue to prepare food while ill.

I ordered kids meals with chick tenders and they went straight into the trash, my kids couldn't even eat them or the fries because they were sitting under heat lamps, burnt and hard as a rock! The trash that these fast food places in Odessa have become!?

if i could rate 0 stars i would. not only are the tater tots dry, the fryer oil is old, but there was a folded up shirt tag in the bottom of my tots. called the store and she said it was mine and there is no way it couldāve been their fault. you can see the tag is literally orange from grease.i looked up the shirt id and its literally a canvas wholesale company.

I ordered a Super Sonic Breakfast Burrito, it came out looking like a children's menu item. They left off half the items that go in it. The order for the combo meal was $9.30 I could have gotten a kids meal for less the price and got equal to or more the items.

Employee there was very rude I pressed red button waited about 6 mins no answer moved to another stall waited there about another 5 minutes moved to another stall and pressed that button and employee came out rude told me sir obviously that stall is inop you need to move and while I was moving he made a hand gesture to me and I called him out on it and asked to speak to his manager and he kept walking inside. I will take my business to STARS drive inā¦ this sonic has gone down!!!

I ordered a #1 Cheese Hamburger Combo w/cherry limeade drink! Fries were greasy and the pickle fries were not good. I still gave 5 stars for food because 9 out of 10 the food is delicious!
