I have eaten at many Indian restaurants, in many places in the US. This is one of my favorites, which is a happy surprise, considering it’s location.
The environment is amazing per say because it kinda always smells like chlorine(because the indoor pool right next to it) but the food and service always make up for it, bloody amazing food, I always take my friends here!

Food is wonderful, staff and kind and offer suggestions if any are needed. It is not in the best place to be in a hotel/motel so expect travelers and the occasional encounters with random people thus it is inside a hotel . . Also there is a bar next door as well . If you love good indian cuisine then you should try this authentic masterpiece here in West Texas

Had the best Punjabi food during our break from New Mexico to Austin. We truly enjoyed both the delicious cuisine and the welcoming atmosphere.

I recently dined at Taste of India and was thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely wonderful! I ordered the chicken tikka masala and paired it with the flat cheese bread (naan), and it was so delicious that I couldn't resist getting an extra order to take home.
The atmosphere is reminiscent of a lovely hotel, which adds to the overall experience, but what truly stood out was the kindness of the staff. They made me feel welcome and valued.
I will definitely be adding Taste of India to my list of frequent spots. Highly recommended!

I usually really like this place. The employees are pretty friendly. Today though was a bad experience. I typically go in to order and everything is perfect. Today I ordered through DoorDash cause I lost my debit card but it’s hooked up to my phone. I placed the order and arrived not even a minute later. I told them i knew my food wouldn’t be ready but wanted to be sure I had ordered what i typically like to get correctly. Come to find out I had in fact ordered wrong. (I’m new to Indian food.) they were super friendly though and acted like they understood and would make it right. They acknowledged me and what I said even repeating it. They told me they would make me what I was actually wanting and not what I ordered. However the food i received was not what we had discussed. It’s like they just didn’t care like i thought they did. It took a really long time for the food to be ready. The garlic naan was not good like usual. It was dry, thin, and dull. Not fluffy and puffy like the other times. The meat was so weird and gross that I gave it to my dog. The sauce didn’t taste right, too oily and not sweet like usual. The rice was the best part and even it wasn’t as good as it usually is. It was a waste of money and time.

I got chicken biryani, garlic naan, and sweet lassi delivered for lunch and it was good. I have tried their mango lassi before and I have to say it’s better than the regular sweet one. The portion for the biryani is huge which is great. It’s definitely worth it.

When ever I am near to midland or passing by this is the only place I eat . Tried almost all the dishes . Super friendly guys . Taste is ultimate and even u can configure the dish to your wish ( like less oil less salt ) . I am a fan for there Bindi masala and chole patura so damn good dishes . Highly recommend this place .
Parking: Lot of parking . Because the restaurant is inside the hotel .
Wheelchair accessibility: It is on the ground floor so worries for wheel chair access

I got the vegetable biryani and it really surprised me as it was my first dish I've ever had that had been primarily vegetables (spices vegetables at that) this was my third time ordering from taste of India and it didn't disappoint. I highly recommend this restaurant if u are in the area or just want to try something new
